Fussy eater approved!
My mare was recently diagnosed with PPID and after beginning medication she went off food and lost weight. I tried many different pellets to try and entice her to eat without much luck, that was until I tried Equi Sweet. With just a little drizzle she now finishes her feed and is looking much better

Great idea but my horses hate it
I thought I’d found the solution to my horses refusing their medications- add a bit of this and they’ll gobble it right down. WRONG. They sniffed it and walked away. I tried for several feedings and now I’m back to drenching with applesauce- not fun when you have six horses to do. I wish it worked. And I wish I hadn’t bought the large size.

Horrible
Bought this because my horse was not eating his reduced calorie feed. He would not get near his feed tub with this on his grain. It smelled horrible to me too. None of the other horses in my barn would eat it either.

My mare is not eating her supplements and meds!
I was having issues with my horse not eating her supplements and meds for Cushing's. The customer service lady recommended trying and it works. She is finally eating all her supplements and meds with her beet pulp pellets. I wish I could remember the customer service rep that suggested this to thank her!

Smells and tastes like solvent
I should have read the label for Equi Sweet before ordering. As I was pouring it into to a serving container, I noticed it smelled like a cleaning solvent, so I tasted it and it had a strong nasty taste, barely sweet at all. Then I read the label--alcohol, methylparaben, propionic acid, ammonium hydroxide, propylene glycol. I'm throwing it away and asking for my money back.

We got creative :)
Smart Pak supplied this to us for free to try on their supplements for a picky horse. Once we found a supplement he eats we just had it on the shelf. Fast forward. We have a picky pig lol! A VERY nice 4H pig that we need to get to eating so she makes weight for fair! Well we added this to her feed, figured it was worth a shot. For the first time in a MONTH she is cleaning up her feed. Now if only we had thought to try this sooner.....

Not good for me
My horse got 1 TEASPOON for first try of this to mask metformin and within one, covered with hives which she then proceeded to rub raw enough that can’t use bridle! Every horse is different, I understand that but be careful. Just because something is natural like Stevia, doesn’t mean there’s no consequences

Solve my picky eater problem!
I started using this as a low-sugar way to get my picky horse to eat his supplements. It works! And as an added bonus it has a lower freezing point than molasses too. Not that it never freezes, but it doesn't freeze as easily as molasses.

Didn't work for me
This product was tried in order to get Scout to eat his electrolytes. Unfortunately, it didn't work for him. He's very astute when it comes to something different being put into his food.. It's not fair for me to recommend or not recommend...

Easy to Use
Gave this a try for my Quarter Horse mare and have been super pleased. I think it smells more like licorice but my mare seems to like it. Love that it does not have to be refrigerated and economical. The consistency is like syrup and has just enough "stickiness."
