Broad-spectrum paste provides effective control of the following parasites in horses: large strongyles, small strongyles, pinworms, ascarids, hairworms, large-mouth stomach worms, bots, lungworms, intestinal threadworms. Also controls summer sores caused by bots, and dermatitis caused by neck threadworms.
1.87% ivermectin paste. 6.08 g syringe treats up to 1,250 lbs. Safe for horses of all ages, pregnant mares, breeding stallions.

Very Effective
I was in need of horse wormer. SmartPak provided a high quality product at a decent price. For me, it's more economical to shop online with SmartPak instead of driving into town and paying $20 + for what I hot a SmartApak for under $20 !

Why pay more
Same ingredient as the name brand. I use the 1.87% Ivermectin twice a year as part of my 8 week rotation. Can't go wrong with this price. For obvious reasons, my horse is not a FAN of any flavor de wormer haha

Great but remember to get a fecal test...
I am a Biology major and my father is a doctor who always says that the generic is just as good as the brands. In fact, many doctors are leaning that way and I think it's because of this economy. It has the same ingredients as the brand names and is 90% cheaper is some instances... why not? My horse is my child and other than my students, I have no children and he gets everything he needs and I think he wants. I raised him from a baby and he always has and always will get the best. In the case of wormer, this is technically the best since it's the same active ingredients. Tip for any medication is to always look at the active ingredients. The inactive ones only matter if there is an allergy, etc.

Good price for pretty good stuff
I have used it on 5 horses and bought 20 when they were on sale. The horses took it easily and it was easy to administer. Only problem was that the plunger easily came off.. So I had to be careful. But it seemed to be a good product!
