Reduced Airway Inflammation
I bought this based on a completed study for airway inflammation in horses and that omega 3s could significantly reduce that inflammation. Before using this, my horse would be wheezing/heavily breathing within minutes of starting a ride. Within 3 days there was a drastic improvement with her breathing. Absolutely amazing. She is also an incredibly picky eater and will eat around any supplement and will eat this.

Helping with my slow healers
My vet noticed my horses were healing slower than normal after cuts or scrapes. They are on pasture with high quality grass hay and a general nutritional supplement. At the advice of a KER nutritionist, I added Nano-E and EO-3 to one horse that had an existing wound. Within 60 hours I am noticing a visual difference in healing speed. I will continue to monitor and report back.I am feeding using a large syringe in the mouth, so that none goes wasted. The gelding likes the taste, no dribbling or refusing to swallow.

Love this oil
I’ve always given my horses flax seed for extra omega 3s. They are on very little grass. I read an article on this stating the benefits of giving it to broodmares and started my horse on it. They look great and eat it with no problems.

Really want my horse to eat it
I have been slowly adding 1/8-1/4 oz to my horse's grain for two weeks. He's continually refused to eat any more than that. Supposedly, this is a minty-apple scent, but to my nose it does seem to smell more like cherry-bubblegum (to be fair, it definitely doesn't smell off-putting to me). I'm really hoping to be able to get him to eat more over time, because unfortunately I don't think 1/4 oz is going to have much of an effect on a 1600lb horse. Definitely beware if you have a known picky eater.

Hard to pour
How do you pour when the bottle is so big. Couldn’t find a pump that fit.

Horse won’t eat it
I’m sure this is a great product. Wish my horse would eat it. Even when I only put 1/2 oz. he won’t eat it.

Great source of EPA/DHA
I was feeding my pregnant mare welactin to support both her and her foals health (particularly foals brain health). Welactin was out of stock so started looking at other options and realized as long as I got the larger size of EO3, it was more cost effective anyway. Colt also gets it now. Both gobble it up.

Great product
She likes the taste, and it really helped with her sweet itch and hives, more than flax did.

Great ingredients, horses won’t eat it
Ingredient-wise, this is the best omega 3 supplement I’ve found for horses. Unfortunately, they hate the flavor and will not touch it.

Great Results & Horses Love It
I have had my horse on this for about 2 years now after recommendation from my vet. My horse can be very itchy from both bug bites and other allergens, developing hives and repeatedly cutting open her neck, dock, and hocks. The original cherry flavor took slow introducing. She seemed more offended by the strong smell than the taste but got used to it. The new minty apple flavor is an absolute hit! She licks her feed pan to get every last drop. No more hives or excessive rubs, cuts, and sores. She will have the occasional itch but nothing like before.
It takes about a month to build up the results. I take her off this for a few months in winter and make sure to restart a month before bugs come out.
