Probably THE Best!
I wish I could afford to give this to ALL my dogs because it definitely improves the quality of life of the older ones that have joint issues. May cost a little more than some other joint products but its more than worth it.

Good Stuff
I have heard many great things about this product. There are many other great reviews. I decided to try it after our 6 year old Alaskan Malumute, Lab mix had Tplo surgery on her right hind leg. I noticed a change the first day she had her smart pack. She was using her right leg alot more, and eats it as her morning treat. Soon after she was back to our same old Mika. It is more expensive than other joint care products but the results are well worth it.

Great Value
This a a great value compared to what my vet charges for this product. My dog loves the flavor and gobbles them the tablets up as a treat. I cannot attest to an improvement in his joint mobility; however, there is no worsening of it either.

"I AM A VERY PICKY EATER AND WILL SPIT OUT ANYTHING THAT DOES NOT MEET MY APPROVAL. I LOVE THE AROMA AND FLAVOR OF COSEQUIN DS AND ALWAYS COME RUNNING WHENEVER A NEW PACKAGE IS OPENED AND NEVER SPIT OUT COSEQUIN DS.

incredible joint supplement
I absolutley love this product! A Hurricane Katrina rescued dog came to us in a round-about way with two damaged ACLs. I decided againt surgery and started her on Cosequin DS and Rimadyl. She is no longer uncomfortable and now plays hard with my other dog, cats and five-year-old son. It is a blessing that she can enjoy her life pain-free.

Very Effective Product
My lab cross had been starting to be slow getting up after lying down, especially after a full day of playing outside. I purchased the Cosequin DS for her and followed the dosing instructions and she is now easily getting up out of her bed. I've seen a huge improvement in her.

Best product ever
Cosequin has helped my dog with her arthritis. She has had 3 knee surgeries and now she is 12 years old. She runs around the house like she is a puppy. When I decrease the amount of Cosequin she does not do so well. Cookie does really well on this medicine!! Smart pak makes the pricing reasonable so I can keep her on this supplement.

Heartily recommend this product!
My dog has taken Cosequin DS for about 4+ years now, we compete in agility so her joints are subjected to quite a bit of stress on a regular basis. I sometimes get asked how old she is and when I tell folks she is almost 8 years old, they are quite surprised and say they assumed she was only about 3. She certainly doesn't act 7 1/2-8 years old! She does have some arthritic changes on X-ray, and has previously broken 2 toes, but does not seem bothered by any of it. She also takes MSM and fish oil supplements.

Cosequin DS works!
I was looking for a good joint supplement for my older dog because I was not pleased with the run-of-the-mill supplement that he was getting. In February I had started giving my horse Cosequin Equine and had great results, so I decided to give Cosequin DS a try. My dog seems more limber than he was before and more comfortable in general. I am very happy with the results and I think my dog is too!

Great Results!
I am trying this product on a Golden Retriever and a Toy Poodle. The 8 year old Retriever is back to her old self as far as running and playing! Her joints don't seem to bother her as they were. The 10 year old Toy Poodle isn't very active but seems to get around a bit better.

Cosequin DS
I have used this product with two dogs now. One was an older lab who had been on pain medication for arthritis. I was able to eliminate the pain medication. The other lab is three with dysplasia and had TPLO's on both hind knees. My vet recommended it as a preventative.

Improvements with the first Dose
I expected to see results within 2 months after reading reviews. Within the first 24 hour period and the first dose of 3 pills, we noticed Pinky was getting up on his own. Previously, we lifted him with a towel to help his back end. Within the first week, he is displaying signs of standing up unassisted. He used to have the look of pain on his face, but not anymore. He looks happier and feels better. Cosequin DS has proved to be just what Pinky needed. I never expected results so quickly.

I believe this product is largely responsible for the longevity of my German Shepherd who lived to be 15 years old, which is quite unique for a Shepherd. I am grateful for the extra years that were given to my dog so I could enjoy his company longer.

Quality of life changer
My 15 year old Springer Spaniel would struggle painfully and vocally every morning just simply getting up not to mention climbing up or down stairs. After the first month of loading this product we began to see great results. Some 3+ years later, on a maintenance dose, Jesse is doing great - he is still getting older and takes a little time each morning to loosen up - but, doing great!

Purchasing this product for years
I have a very active Lab. who injured her hip
years ago. She has been on Cosequin DS
for at least 6 years. I am a strong believer in
this product. When she strains her hip playing to hard I will increase the dose for a couple of weeks and she will be back to herself.
SmartPak beats the Vets price big time!

Not Enough Response from My Dog
Cosequin is so highly regarded - even my vet recommended it by name - that it was the first thing I tried when my 8-year-old dog started experiencing hip pain. After 6 months on the product, he didn't not show significant improvement. He didn't like the chew tabs, and he would look at me with disdain when I put the powder in his food, even mixed with rich, saucy wet food. Unfortunately it just wasn't the right product for him.

Tried & True
I've been using this product, on and off, for the last 3 years on my Golden x. He has hip and stifle soreness after long walks or trailrides. I occasionally try "new stuff" but after a few months I always return to Cosequin. My dog enjoys his long runs with minimal after-soreness when he's on the Cosequin. He also loves the chewable tablet, taking it as his morning treat!

Can't live without it.
I have an older lab with lots of miles on him. The cosequin keeps him young. He's been on it most of his life and can out hunt dogs much younger than him. I also keep my young lab on it to prevent problems in the future. I love the convience of the SmartPaks and I know that even at the kennel they never miss a dose. I'm sure my dogs would both tell you that they can't live without their Cosequin.

This product has truly been a blessing for my 5yr old Boarder Collie 'Rudy'. He had knee surgery and I have been giving him this product now for almost 2yrs and the results have just been remarkable he is back to his old self chasing his favorite thing, his tennis ball which we named 'Wilson' Thank you for your help in helping my find this product for my 'best Friend'
