Great for skin and coat
I was very please to find a supplement that would provide omega 3s and biotin in one affordable and convenient package. I have two horses with very different needs (one has great feet and needs added fat because he is older and struggles with sugar digestion the other struggles to maintain good hooves and coat.) and this helps both. Both love it and eat it well.

Excellent hoof supplement!
I wanted a hoof supplement that was mostly biotin without alot of other things, since my horse already gets a multivitamin. This had EXACTLY what we needed for a great price. He eats it beautifully and after only a month my farrier commented more growth on his hooves than he has ever seen! He is also shiny from the flax. VERY happy with Bioflax 20!!

BioFlax 20 works wonders
My horses hooves were very dry, cracking badly, chunks where coming out. I started using BioFlax 20 and in 2 weeks I could notice a huge difference in the way the hooves were growing out. There were stronger. No cracks. Even the horse shoer said, "What are you using on your horses hooves? They are doing so much better!" BioFlax 20, I highly recommend.

HUGE improvement
My 23 yr old bay Arab mare that I have owned for 20 yrs has struggled with severe summer skin fungus for years. I have tried a lot of products. As she has aged her coat has gotten less bright, coarser, and very slow to shed the winter hair. She had a better summer last year after starting Bioflax but this June, after a year of Bioflax, she is amazing. Her coat is so glossy that riding her bareback is like a slip and slide. NO Fungus. I have my MTG oil on standby but not having to use it so far.

My Skinny mare loves this product. Put pounds on her in a heart beat WITHOUT making her high. I got it because she doesnt have the best feet in the world. I noticed a HUGE difference in her feet, coat and weight within 2 weeks. She looks awesome!! I can not say enough positive things about this product!!!

Best without over doing
We have a barefoot draft cross and a thin soled shod Han/TB cross and the BioFlax20 keeps both their feet in great shape. It covers the essentials without fear of "over supplementing."

Horses seem to like it.
My horses seem to like the bioflax and I didn't need too many other vitamins beside the biotin. I hope it makes their feet stronger, but hard to tell with all of the other variables. Convenient and affordable in the smartpaks.

The Perfect Solution
My thoroughbred mare has typical hooves for her breed. They crack easily, and are shelly. When I got her almost four years ago, she had bad feet that were mis-shaped and trying to heal from being barefoot. My horse NEEDS shoes but no matter what, her shoes would never stay on her hooves well. She constantly lost shoes. Even after she started holding shoes better, her hooves cracked and never looked as healthy as they could. My farrier was trying to do all in his power to get her hooves back to full health.
I was familiar with SmartPak and put my mare on BioFlax 20. Within a week I saw a great transformation. She was on it for a month and then I retired its use to see what would happen. Her hooves cannot go without it! I am going to keep my mare on this supplement forever. My farrier was absolutely stunned and told me keep my mare on it! Her feet are growing out of their cracks and are holding on shoes so well; Sis never looses them anymore.
I am so happy to know that my mare can perform well as a jumper with good, strong, and healthy hooves. This is the best product ever.

Not the right choice for us
I grew up with biotin as the supplement to give and so when I needed a skin and hoof supplement this was my first choice. I have not experienced the results that I was looking for, nothing bad, just no better. We are changing to Omega Horseshine to see if there is any difference.

Saw the difference
My horse was losing shoes & her hooves kept cracking, so I put her on BioFlax & they got tremendously better & she stopped losing shoes! Took her off thinking it was okay and within 2 weeks she lost 2 shoes again. Needless to say, I'll keep her on it this time.

Fantastic product, great value, and tasty
This is the first powdered supplement I have found that my mare will actually eat. Had her on Farriers Formula for 3 years, and switched to BioFlax because it came highly recommended by an equine nutritionist. Does not hurt that it is cheaper too! Those of you who are considering a switch but have picky eaters, contact SmarkPak and ask them to ship free samples before purchasing.

Fantastic!
Our mare had nasty, crusty, itchy skin after being left in a field for years before she came to us. She regularly rubbed out her mane, tail and chest. Within 30 days we saw great effects: no more itching and a glowing coat. After a few months her hooves are looking great as well.

Nice strong hooves!
Gelding has nice strong hooves, is shiny & has dapples. (Farrier mentioned what nice hooves he had - barefoot too!) My other horse won't eat it though. Great product & great price - if your horse will eat it. Non-picky gelding thinks it taste just fine.

Great product
My yeraling had thin shelly feet, and with the use of this product, just in a month they have improved! It has made his coat nice and shiny as well. He is particular about certain treats he eats, and doesn't even know there is a supplement in his food. Great product so far!

Good deal for coat & biotin
Plan on keeping my horse on this product for the rest of the summer. He is barefoot and needs the biotin for his hooves, yet still needs a coat supplement.

Great for Hooves & Coat
Pleasantly surprised & fully recommend!! My mare has 1 foot that is a little clubby & weaker than the others. It is the one that most often loses a shoe (therefore making it weaker with more cracks) so the cycle keeps going. I bought Bioflax after finding the ingredients & price comparable to other hoof supplements & couldn't be happier! Her feet are growing like crazy & the added bonus is that she is incredibly shiny! Her coat is unbelievable on it. I actually cut down her dosage slightly b/c her hooves were almost growing too fast to be kept on a 5 week shoeing rotation. The only way I'd like it even more would be if it came in pellet form b/c there is usually some left over in the feed pail.

BioFlax Lived Up to Other Reviews
I bought a miniature mare with the worst coat I have ever seen on a horse. I think she was missing some nutrition, and I tried out several other supplements that worked on other horses in the past, but her coat was a tough one. It has been 3 weeks since we started using this product, she is shedding out beautifully, the weird texture and uneveness is gone, she is shiny, filling out, and her mane isn't nearly as dry and brittle as it was a few weeks ago. I highly recommend this product and will continue to use it.

Good product for price
I fed this to my horses for about 2 months until I decided to switch to a pelleted hoof/coat supplement. It took my horses a few weeks to start really eating the supplement, but what I didn't like was that the powder that got left behind was starting to leave a residue in their feed buckets.
On the good side my rescued TB's feet started growing like crazy and were hardening up just after 2 months of use. My farrier was impressed. My Arabian's feet needed to be trimmed more often because of the extensive growth he was experiencing.
Overall I think this is a great product for the price. If your horses are good with eating powdered supplements and you're on a tight budget, this would be a great product for you.

Great supplement
Because of the great reviews it has received, I decided to try this supplement. My extremely picky eater has to have his BioFlax mixed with molasses or he will not touch it. My "normal" horse will eat it when it is just in her grain. My very picky boy might not be the best judge of palatabiliy!

Great Product!
Last year I was giving my Friesian gelding another coat enhancer and it worked very well, just that with some of life's issues I was looking at ways to cut back. Well, he was still in good shape with a nice shiny coat, but it had become dry and itchy! Well I went on a search for a coat and hoof suppl. and found this to be high in omega fats and biotin, so here we are, he eats it right up and it is VERY affordable. One week on it and he is already shedding out nicely from the cold winter and is looking fantastic!

Great stuff!
I have been giving this product to my old friend for about 2 weeks now and I definately have noticed a difference in the shedding of his winter coat. It seems to be coming off faster than normal. I am looking forward to seeing the end results!

Quality Product
I just started using Bioflax 20 at the beginning of the month and I am already seeing a difference in the hooves of my 30+ year old TB boarder. His hooves have been acryliced because of severe splitting but now the splits are growing right out from the coronary band and the hoof looks strong and intact. This is a great product because it doesn't have alfalfa added like so many of the other products. I have one horse who is allergic to alfalfa so Bioflax 20 is an excellent option for us.
