Unfortunately, I introduced 3 new things at once to my sensitive IR horse, your product being but 1 of them. From Ameriherb both jiaogulan and hawthorn, all in attempt to provide relief from laminitis pain. Success!

Reasonable price great product

Just ordered my second bag,
Just ordered my second bag, did take a few days to get her to eat it as it is very potent tasting. Have not noticed a difference in her crusty neck yet, hoping to see results soon!

Good to have during cold
Good to have during cold snaps and I use it regularly for my IR horse. I am not sure it helps to reduce insulin but she seems more comfortable, more energy.

No tying up!
Do I know if it works? I honestly don't know, but my PSSM Type 1 horse has never tied up (touch wood!) and copes well on 5 mile trail rides. It makes me more comfortable knowing that it's helping to make his glucose more bioavailable rather than being locked in his muscles. Initially I thought he'd never eat it because it has such a potent vinegar-type smell, but soaked with his Sport Horse Grass pellets, it dissolves 100% and he doesn't bat an eyelash at the taste!

Was recommended this product for my 23 year old Hanovarian/Thoroughbred cross, for his EPM. I noticed after him being on it for 2 weeks, he started keeping balance better in his hind end, stand on all 4 legs , used to stand on 3 not knowing where the other leg was. It has really helped out with his mobility. Thank you Uckele for referring me this product without having to spend a fortune on something else that "might" work.

Seeing positive changes in my PSSM/EPSM horse.
My horse started bucking (at about age 8) under saddle. He has always been an “easy keeper†and preferred to stand around and eat. The trainer called him lazy and said he needed an attitude adjustment. :/ My vets thought he was just fatigued suggested banimine and Roboxin for the muscle tightness and give it time. So that's what I did I gave him time off and the months turned into years. He stopped tying up but became very overweight.
I knew something else was going on. Short story, I changed his tack, had a new custom-made saddle, took him for chiropractic and acupuncture, started riding him again. His symptoms were not getting better but worse, he couldn't stand for the farrier, he had signs of shifting lameness, would tense up in abdomen, the developing tremors in the flank area were more frequent and the tie-up episodes were awful!
I had to do something... after hours and days on the Internet I sent a sample of his hair to have checked for (what I had never heard of) PSSM. Results came back positive for PSSM1.
I immediately changed his diet to low starch/low sugar put him on 5000mg magnesium, 2000 mg Coconut oil, Vitamin E and selenium, I hand walked him everyday or at least light lunging.
I noticed slight changes but still could not ride him without him offering to buck or tying up. The big change came when I took him off high fat and replaced it with Acety-L-Carnitine Uckele brand.
He has been on 10mg a day for 2 weeks. He is much more comfortable, has more energy, isn't near as “starving†all the time, and is loosing his fat pockets.
I am very encouraged! (Side note: from all my research; If you decide to try Acety-L-Carnitine be sure you're not giving oils/fats. They can't have both.) It's one or the other. Good Luck!
