Instructions for Use:
A concentrate; mix one part of Healthy HairCare Hair Moisturizer™ with eight parts of water in a spray bottle. Spray on after daily grooming, after body clipping, bathing, or on blanket chafed areas. Spray onto tails, manes, coats, soft brush, towel, or massage into hair. Use on a wet or dry horse, clean or dirty. You are going to love the results.
We also recommend using the Hair Moisturizer as a daily grooming aid after body clipping, bathing and to repair dry, brittle or sun damaged coats, manes and tails. It is also a super touch up spray before entering the show ring. Makes up to 1 gallon.

Great product
Bought this as my horses have been dry and itchy this summer. Having moved to a much hotter, drier climate with low humidity, I added flax to their diet but wanted to help the skin and dryness from the outside also. This seems to be helping as well as adding shine. Not greasy or slippery under the saddle and has been working great. Haven't noticed any change with regard to attracting more or less dust.

Hair Care for the Chestnut Mare
I own a chestnut mare with a dull, dry coat. I have to pull out all the stops to make her show ring ready. This is my go-to daily coat treatment to keep dandruff at bay and keep moisture in her coat. It works wonderfully. A dusting before and/or after a ride brings out the shine in her coat without leaving any artificial residue. It doesn't get slippery or sticky. It works great for detangling tails too. I love that the bottles are concentrated, so you get quite a few spray bottles out of one bottle of Healthy HairCare. It's a staple in my grooming kit and, on show day, you'd never know my dappled, gleaming mare is secretly a dull, dandruffy redhead.

I use this product after hosing down and after full baths! I have a black mare and chestnut both have an incredible hair coat. Healthy and full of shine! Doesn’t make your horse slick, like cowboy magic or show sheen but has the same ‘look’ effect. I will forever be grateful for the moisture concentrate! I don’t use on dry hair only because you can tell where it has been sprayed vs. wet hair is completely even! (After scraping off, spray all over body and follow with a soft bristle brush) ❤️

Works from first application!
My 27 year old horse, Maggie, seemed to have lots of dander that I could not get out with brushing (after she got rid of the winter fur coat). I purchased this condition - and I LOVE IT! From the first application, her coat shines and I see no dander. I spray it on her and brush her with a very soft brush to spread it and work it in. She looks beautiful and I know she must feel better!

Use to cut down on static
I have been buying this for years. I mist my horse with it lightly or spray it directly on my brush to cut down on static in the winter time during grooming. It also adds a nice sheen to his coat and smells fresh but light.

Works great! Long Lasting!
Love this product! I've been using it all winter and my horse has not had a speck of dander. Usually he has a lot of dander in the winter and this has made a huge difference. I apply it after every ride and work it in with a curry or a brush. I also comb it into his mane and tail. I've noticed the biggest different on his coat versus on his mane and tail, but it does help to condition those I just don't think it absorbs as well there. As it's concentrated, one bottle lasts a long time so it's great value! It also smells lovely. Highly recommend this as an all over body conditioner.

Works great!
I have been using this for about a month and while it is critical that you find a spraybottle with a good misting feature, it seems to work really well! I like to spray it on and use a curry comb to work it in, then put on my horse's cooler after a ride.

Immediate results!
I bought this product after friends at my barn recommended it. I have a Friesian with long hair that sometimes becomes tangled and in knots. I started using this product and saw immediate results. My horse's mane has a nice sheen to it and looks healthy. I love it!

Static prevention
I’m using this in the winter to prevent static. It leaves the ponies soft and has a nice fragrance. Also use it other seasons as a coat conditioner. Very economical.

I just recently started using this product on a new horse with a long, thick mane. It doesn't seem to attract dust/dirt, which is what I was worried about, and it is not greasy. I think it will have a permanent spot in my grooming kit now!

I first started using this product 15 years ago with my first horse. Loved it then, love it now with my new horse! Everyone always comments on how soft she is - she has been called a Chinchilla-horse - and this is why. It's a great detangler, keeps dry skin issues at bay, but it also doesn't leave any slippery residue on coats like some other brands do - you can freely put this on manes and saddle areas. I *highly* recommend this product, and was thrilled to see it hasn't changed since I first used it!

Great restorative
I just got a horse with a thick & long mane, and noticed the more popular brands of detangler were slowly drying and shortening her hair. I was considering using a people leave-in conditioner... but then I found this.
Seems to be making her hair softer, fuller, in only a month. The one major draw back; it is a sticky when wet, so a little goes a long way. I put it on a couple time a week before I ride, to give it time to dry before she gets turned out. Early on I just put it on her and turned her out, but it acted as a dirt magnet.

Nice & Light!
This moisturizer/detangler is one of my favorites! It is NOT greasy at all, and it really keeps the hair soft and smooth without weighing it down. I have also found it to be very helpful with itchy tails and dandruff, and I spray it on my horses coat as a conditioner also.

Smells great and detangles!
I was looking for something that I could use daily to untangle and defrizz my horses mane and tail. It's currently Winter and I use a tail bag on my grey mare. Even after leaving that on for a week (in the rain and mud) my horses tail was still soft. Her mane has also been much more controllable. It smells wonderful too!

Can't groom without it.
I have used this product for years, and it is certainly a MUST in my grooming kit. Keep's my horse's coats dandruff free, shiny, and healthy! Never gets greasy. I don't use it on their tails as it doesn't contain silicone, that's what differs between coat moisturizer and tail de-tangler. Never should de-tangler be used on their coats- silicon gets into their pores and inhibits sweating!

This works!
I had previously purchased 4 other well known products that claimed would make my horse's tail & mane soft but ended up making it sticky & gooey. Based on the reviews of this product I thought I would give it a try. It definitely makes a difference & does not leave a sticky or gooey residue or buildup.

love love love it
I bought this because my Hanoverian always has a dry coat and mane/tail especially in the summer and winter after getting clipped. After reading all the good reviews I thought why not the worst that can happen is it doesn't work. Well after about a week I started seeing results, Fagan has a nice soft coat and he stays cleaner now which is a plus because he is a grey, so that means less stains and dirt and dust. His mane and tail are soft and stronger and don't break as easily. I love the smell and even after a month I am still using the same spray bottle. 1 bottle of the Healthy Haircare moisturizer made 4 spray bottles, so it's definitely worth the money. I will be continuing to keep using it. I just wish I had tried it along time ago.
