Rated 1 out of 5 by from They Leak! Had these boots and loved them for about a week. Bought to replace my leaking stella polaris boots. These kept my feet warm and dry, until they too began to leak in not even very wet weather at all. Same with the pair I bought my sister, one week of use, and then good for nothing but the trash. They never dried out again after that!!!! I won't purchase any more Mountain Horse products, as this is 3 pairs in one season that all have miserably failed.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from COLD FEET! I was pretty disappointed to find that the insulation in the toes of these boots were very poor. It might be OK if you are in a warmer climate, but this winter, riding/walking around in anything less than 30 degrees does not keep my toes warm, even with extra socks! The only positive things I like is the insulation in the calf, and the soft material on the outside of the calf on the boot, to keep from rubbing my saddle.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pros and Cons Bought this about a month ago.So far the boots are very comfortable and seem warm. The foot bed is wide and slightly large, although I wear thick socks with boot warmers so prefer it that way. Put Ariat insoles in for more support though.Really like that the ankles are softer material that require zero break in and allow for full flexion of the ankle without the discomfort of materials digging in there.Easy to get on and off and sides velcro to make a more custom fit. The only issue is that the picture above does not display the huge Mountain Horse Logo that runs down the side of the calf. Almost returned them since it is a bit tacky for my taste but thought for the price I'd give it a shot anyway. Next to see if these hold up any better than the more expensive ice rider boots I bought which cracked by the balls of the foot.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wore out in less than a month! These boots began to tear at the ankle (where there is a velcro strap) within the first few weeks of owning them. I ended up sending them back because they were wrecked within a month. I am sticking to leather from now on!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed At the end oh my 8 hour teaching day my feet hurt and were frozen! because boots fall (slouch and scrunch) they do not protect the whole calf from the weather. they do ride ok

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Super Warm but not totally waterproof These are the warmest boots I have found, by far. I love them and they are extremely comfortable. However, the seams on the foot do leak, so they are not totally waterproof in the foot. When I walk through snow, the snow then melts down through the seams and I end up with wet feet. They are the best boot I have found and are a great value for the price. I love not having a zipper to break!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Never buy this boot again! The only positive thing I can say about this boot is that it is warm and comfortable in cold DRY weather. I have been wearing them trail riding all winter and had not encountered rain, which is amazing since I live in the Pacific Northwest. There is virtually no support, kind of like wearing slippers, but I think inserts would probably help. The back closure wasn't tight enough for me, but until it rained, that didn't matter either. I rode in the rain 10 days ago with a long coat that covered the top half of the boot. My feet got soaked! My socks squished. The inside of the boots are still soaking wet, and I've had them in the house since that ride. Needless to say, I'll probably never wear them again. Advertising them as waterproof is a farce. Buyer beware. I'm feeling totally ripped off.
