As riders and online shoppers, we know it can be tough to buy a new bridle or pair of boots without trying them on. That's why we moved the fitting room to your living room (or barn)! From breeches to blankets, if you or your horse can try it on, you can return it, free! Just use the pre-paid return label included in your order within 60 days from the purchase date. And of course, please make sure the item is in like-new condition with original packaging (we said 'fitting room', not 'war room'!).

Happy Mouth bits are uniquely constructed with high tech plastics, making them soft, flexible, gentle and comfortable for your horse. The unique apple scent increases your horse's acceptance. Happy Mouth bits are non-toxic, flexible and long lasting with a stainless steel center core.

The mullen mouth bit is more comfortable and is often used on younger horses. 5" or 5.5". 20mm thickness.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this bit My Youngest Jumper Soldier is a bit picky with his bits. He was not broke like normaly horses, his prior owner basicly destroyed his mouth with a western Charo Spaid bit. So soldier dose not like Metal bit (ocasionaly he dose) but He loves Mullens and happy mouth ones. I have almost a selection of multiple varity of these bits. This is the final step in his traning plus I needed somthing softer for Working with long lines or bitting rig. This bit was perfect.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from well, still having problems... Well, I thought I had fixed the problem of my mare's mouth splitting on one side by a larger bit, but it hasn't. I have never had this problem with metal bits but for some reason the plastic has caused her mouth to get cut on one corner. At first I thought it was because the loose ring was pinching where the loose ring attaches to the plastic bit, so I ordered a larger size, to no avail. I'm really bummed because she loves the Mullen mouth guess I'll be looking for a metal one or different brand now. There's $50 down the drain...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from love this bit My mare was fussy with her head despite being in a loose ring snaffle. She loves this bit and is much steadier in the contact now. She usually wears a 5" but this one punched the side of her mouth so I ordered the 5 1/2" and its great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice, very mild bit I generally ride my horse in a Dr. Cook's Bitless Bridle and only use a bit when I have to (for horse shows). This one gets the job done and my horse doesn't mind it at all. It's very mild, but even though my horse tends to be quite forward, his "breaks" are perfectly fine in this bit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great bit for certain horses This bit is fabulous for horses with low palates that also don't mind tongue pressure. It is a rather thick bit in the mouth, so it can be hit or miss for horses that are sensitive to the bit. I like this one over the unshaped Happy Mouth mullen since it has a twisted steel core, rather than just a plain metal core. This helps the bit have some flexibility (though not much ... but as much as a mullen mouth can have). Great overall product.
