As riders and online shoppers, we know it can be tough to buy a new bridle or pair of boots without trying them on. That's why we moved the fitting room to your living room (or barn)! From breeches to blankets, if you or your horse can try it on, you can return it, free! Just use the pre-paid return label included in your order within 60 days from the purchase date. And of course, please make sure the item is in like-new condition with original packaging (we said 'fitting room', not 'war room'!).

Protect your horse's face from flies - without a fly mask!

The Fly Armor Browband attaches with VELCRO® brand fasteners to most bridles to create an insect-free "force field" around your horse's face, ears and upper neck. The safe, eco-friendly, scented inserts, which fit into pockets on either side of the horse's face, can last for up to four weeks for great summer protection. The protection gets even stronger as the heat increases (because that's when the bugs get REALLY bad!). If used in cooler temperatures, an additional Fly Armor element is recommended.

Contains Browband plus 1 Replacement Insert Pack (2 inserts) in a resealable red bag.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Seems to work for us My horse has sensitive ears due to aural plaques, so bridling is done by unhooking the bit and riding sans noseband. I velcro this on after bridling instead of using a conventional browband. It seems to help keep the bugs off her face and ears while we are riding. Between rides I store it in its plastic pouch to prolong use. I also cut one of the repellent inserts in half and use half on each side to extend use.I have the halter style one, too. It is easier than trying to convince her wear a fly mask with ears.I think is a bit pricey, so that is why I did not give it 5 stars.I would buy it again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Another Dud for the South I've got mixed feelings about this one. The flies stay away from my horse's head when wearing... does it keep them away from his legs or rear? Nope. It's sort of like wearing a bug bracelet... it keeps them away for a certain radius. It also seems to attract a different insect... that I haven't seen before. It may be some weird version of a deer fly but it kept regular flies away and kept attracting these weird other flies!!! I was super annoyed. I live in Aiken, SC and the bugs are especially bad this year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keeps flies away! My friend got these for her horse and my horse. I have been using it for 4 weeks now and it still works extremely well! There are no flies around my horses head when she wears this and it doesn't rub or chafe at her ears. This is a great buy if you are a trail rider or a horseback rider who rides a sensitive horse because this definitely eliminates the fly head shaking problem!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from No more head shaking! My favorite find this summer! My horse hates fly masks and will take one off within minutes. I hate the flies that gather around her eyes during turnout and the head shaking/leg rubbing and foot stomping that ensue. These strips have solved that issue for us.I use the cheek bands on her muzzle and also use the brow band for riding. I store them in a ziploc for a longer shelf life.
