I feed my dog twice a day, how many PortionPaks do I get in a shipment?
PortionPaks are automatically delivered right to your door every 28 days. Every shipment contains 56 precisely measured single-serve meals, which is meant to provide your dog with two meals daily. Just open, pour, and serve.
How long are the PortionPaks good for?
PortionPaks are tightly sealed to protect potency and provide your dog the freshest food available. We recommend feeding them within 6 months of the shipping date.

Why are PortionPaks shipped every 28 days instead of 30 or 31 days?
Since each month can have a different number of days as well as number of weeks, a monthly shipping schedule would cause you to either have excess PortionPaks or potentially run out before the next shipment arrives. To be sure that you always get the right amount, we ship your orders every 4 weeks. This guarantees that no matter how many days or weeks are in the month, your order will arrive on time.
Can I order more than one set of PortionPaks at a time?
PortionPaks are offered as part of an AutoShip program, and therefore we only ship one order at a time, since you will receive a new order every 4 weeks. This also helps ensure the food is as fresh as possible, since we make each PortionPak shipment just before sending it out to you.
How do I get free shipping on my PortionPaks?
If you have multiple PortionPaks which total over $75 together, your orders will qualify for free shipping. However, if your order is synced with your horse's monthly SmartPaks or shipped to a commercial barn address, you can receive free shipping by using your weekly Barn Saver Shipping Day, regardless of your order total.
Why isn't the food I use offered in SmartPaks?
While we currently only offer SmartCanine and Wellness brands in PortionPaks, we are looking to expand the selection of dog food available in the PortionPaks feeding system. If there's a product that we don't currently offer that you'd like us to consider, please submit a Product Request so we can look into it further for you. If we do end up adding your requested product, we'll be sure to let you know!
Can I delay or adjust the shipping schedule on my PortionPaks?
Yes, you can easily update your shipping date for your PortionPaks by visiting the AutoShip Manager on our website.
How do I adjust the shipping address on my PortionPaks?
You can easily update your shipping address for your PortionPaks by visiting the AutoShip Manager on our website (if you’re not logged in already, you’ll be prompted to do so first). Click on the Edit This Order button next to your dog’s order. From there you’ll have the ability to edit your shipping address.
How do I update the billing information on my PortionPaks?
To update your billing address or credit card, simply visit our Billing Information page and enter your new information (if you’re not logged in already, you’ll be prompted to do so first). Please note that any changes will apply to all active orders on your account.
How do I cancel my PortionPaks order?
We’re sorry to see you go, but we understand that sometimes things change. To cancel your PortionPaks, visit our AutoShip Manager on our website (if you’re not logged in already, you’ll be prompted to do so first). Next, click the Edit This Order button next to your dog’s order. From there you’ll have the ability to cancel your order by selecting the link labeled “Cancel this PortionPak.” You’ll be asked to complete a few quick questions, then will receive confirmation that your order has been cancelled.
What if my dog won’t eat the food?
We’ve carefully chosen and developed our foods to be palatable for even the pickiest eaters, but we understand that some pups might need additional encouragement. In our experience, adding water or a wet food topper or dehydrated mix can help enhance palatability. If you’re still having trouble, feel free to reach out to our Health Experts and we’d be happy to help!
Can I return unopened PortionPaks
Due to their customization, daily-dose PortionPaks may not be returned once they've left our warehouse. However, any purchase from us is covered by our 100% Happiness Guarantee! Please contact our Health Experts for additional assistance, they'll be happy to make things right!
