SmartPaker Supplement Review: 4CTYE™ Epiitalis® Forte Horse Gel
Being involved in the equine community for almost 40 years, I’ve experienced the evolution from traditional care methods to modern innovative products. I was excited to learn more about 4CYTE™ Epiitalis® Forte Horse Gel and how it compared to the more traditional joint support that I’ve used for so many years.
As with any supplement, first off, it had to meet my criteria for use; backed by clinical research, great reviews, palatable, easy to feed, and affordable. Epiitalis Forte checked all of these boxes. I was especially excited to hear that horse owners were having great success with this product over others that they’d tried in the past. Many other companies don’t have the research behind their products, and this is a deal-breaker for me. I want to feel confident that I’m spending my money on and feeding my horse something that is actually going to help improve their quality of life. Horse parents will do absolutely anything to make sure their horses are supported in all of their needs, but we also like to be practical.
My horse is a 17-year-old OTTB who suffers from joint discomfort. We do low-level eventing, but most of all we have fun together and he is my best buddy! Last year in addition to his typical discomfort, he also developed an infection in his hock joint capsule which took many months of treatment and rehab. While he’s been on traditional joint support in the past with the “tried and true” ingredients that most folks are familiar with, I wanted to try him on Epiitalis Forte to see if it would make a difference for him; not only with his general joint discomfort, but also in his hock recovery, as he was still showing some swelling and stocking up in that leg.
We started off with feeding the loading dose of the Epiitalis Forte, and by the end of that week, I already saw a difference. Not only did he move more freely and not show any signs of discomfort, but the swelling and appearance of the hock already looked better. His personality was also perky and happy, and it was apparent that he was feeling good. As I continued with the product at the maintenance dose, I also rode him for the first time in about 7 months – just a quiet walk around, not really having any expectations. Not only did he not show any lameness from his hock injury, but he also felt really great in general. He tends to be a bit clumsy sometimes, and prone to tripping, but I didn’t notice any of that. He also occasionally is a bit cold-backed when starting off, but he felt very loose all around. After several walking rides, we attempted a bit of trot. He felt wonderful! In the past, he tended to show what I thought was a little attitude at times, shaking his head, crow-hopping a bit, pulling me onto his forehand. I’m left now thinking that was his way of telling me he had some pain, as there was none of that this time!

I can say with certainty now that I’m a big believer in this product. I understand what all the hype is about, and it's not just hype! I’ll be keeping my horse on it going forward. I’m extending a big thank you to the people that helped develop and market 4Cyte Epiitalis Forte. I will recommend it to all of my horse friends!
