SmartPaker (Julia) Supplement Review: 4CTYE™ Epiitalis® Forte Horse Gel

My horse, Pete, is a 31 year old quarter horse gelding who I have owned and loved for 26 years. My mom bought him for me when I was 14 and we have been together ever since, including joining me at college and even teaching my kids how to ride! We spent many years in the hunter/jumper world until he had one eye removed due to cancer and then a knee injury which ended his jumping career at 24. We now dabble in dressage and enjoy trail rides a couple days a week.

At his age it's probably not a surprise that Pete has some joint troubles. He's in great shape and stays active but does get stiff, especially after a long ride. My veterinarian recommended that I try 4CTYE to help with his overall joint support and comfort. I did some research and learned that 4CTYE™ Epiitalis® Forte Horse Gel is made of natural plant seed oil extract and is high in fatty acids which seemed like it would be a good fit for my Pete. In the past, other medications and support options we tried ended up causing stomach ulcers (poor Pete!) but since being on 4CYTE we have not noticed any signs of gastrointestinal upset and my vet assured me this supplement is considered safe for long-terms use with minimal side effects.

After receiving the 4CYTE supplement from SmartEquine I gave Pete his first dose. It has a very strong fruit scent that was initially a bit off putting for him and he gave me a hard time the first few days, but eventually he began eating it like a champ! The gel packet is easy to dose and administer, though I did find it's important to clean the syringe after each dose to keep clean and sanitary. Once I was no longer concerned with if he would at the supplement or not, I started to notice a difference within just three weeks. His movement seemed more fluid and comfortable, and his farrier commented that his body felt less stiff and had more range of motion. The cherry on top was his chiropractor remarking that he was very happy with Pete's movement

He is now back to some of his favorite things - longer trail rides, teaching littles, and jumping poles! I am excited to have found this product and will continue to use this as part of our daily routine.
