Ariat® Bromont Dress Boot is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Did not fit me Since my size was not available in the field boot style, I tried the dress boot style in regular and full calf sizes as I had read that this boot runs narrow, even though I have a 'regular' calf. In fact, the regular boot was definitely too tight, and the full was way too big and bulky, and both were too tall for my leg. I returned both. I ended up buying the field boot style, regular calf, from another store and it fit completely differently (and much better). This is a beautiful boot I wanted to like but it wasn't going to work for me!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Boots!! I have had the previous model of this boot, which are the field version, for three winters now . When I saw that they had come out with a dress boot version I really wanted them!! I hate laces and even though the bromonts previously had the elastic type, after 2 years of non-stop use through the winter, they finally broke. The dress Bromonts are great! They are taller than the field versions with a taller Spanish cut on the outside and have a nice cap toe. They have a nice clean look with a heavier type of leather than the originals as well as having a longer suede piece on the inside calf than the field versions. Ariat added some new details such as the tabs over the zippers both top and bottom, I'm not sure that was needed but it was well done nevertheless. They are warm and waterproof. If you want a winter boot that isn't clunky, these are the ones. They are warm enough down to about 25F but after about 6 hours in those temps you will get alittle chilly but then I switch out to my heavier and warmer winter boots and when it's that cold for that length of time, it's hard to stay really warm anyways. They are tall enough and stiff enough to be a sufficient substitute for my regular dress work boots (I wear Petries normally).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very waterproof! This boot is truly waterproof and extremely warm and comfortable. Great features and design. Very pleased overall, just a word of caution that the calf seems to fit a bit snug compared to other "regular" sized calves, and the boot is quite tall and very stiff. I was unsure that they fit at first, and struggled to zip them on, but they broke in quickly and now fit beautifully.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ariat does it again! I have had the Bromont field boots for the last 3 years, and adored them, but when I saw these come out in the dress boots as I was thinking of getting a pair with full calves anyway (in the evening I sometimes have trouble zipping my regular calf boots, after being on my feet all day) I had to say yes! I was concerned that they would not be as supple, etc. with the glossy dress leather.....No worries! These are absolutely (gush, rave) fabulous boots. They even rolled the top of them veeerry slightly in so they lie snug against your knee at the top, no gap. And kept the trademark Bromont suede inner calf for grip on the saddle. Supple leather, comfy right out of the box, and by the 3rd ride, like old friends. They even come in a 10.5, which may be a special order, but for me, perfect fit. A custom order couldn't do better. BEST.BOOTS.EVER. I will cry on days these are too warm to wear. Gorgeous enough for winter clinics/shows, cozy enough for icy/snowy days. What more could a dressage woman ask for? Oh, yes. Best quality for a fair price. Sold!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Schooling DressageBoots This is my second pair of Ariat Bromont boots - I wore the first pair of field boots almost daily for 3 years - rain, shine, summer, winter.  Love 'em for that reason alone - never a leak and so comfy.  Can't say I'm thrilled about the appearance of the "new" dressage boot.  First, there is that beading across the toe and a large bulky hunk of medial suede running virtually the entire height of the boot.  I think dressage boots need to fit relatively snuggly along the leg and these boots have quite a bit of play around the ankle, while more conforming along the calf. They give a more stovepipe appearance and I was disappointed because my original field boots do not look that way.  On the other hand, the new dressage boot is taller and the leather is soft and already feels broken in. There are snaps over the zipper top and bottom and spur rests. I'll keep them because I don't show, but not sure whether others will find them acceptable. I bought a 9 regular calf and it feels a bit too generous.
