Loire Close Contact Collection is described as the most stylish saddle pad LeMieux have ever produced. The Loire collection exudes sophistication and class - showing style without showing off! Woven Satin fabric gives a beautiful sheen to these pads whilst still benefitting from the wonderfully soft and breathable Bamboo lining. The 100% natural Bamboo material controls heat & sweat and wicks very efficiently. The whole pad benefits from a new extensively researched soft friction-free suede binding which is specially fabricated to smoothly contour the edges. This new technique helps retain the perfect saddle pad shape and binding profile. The textured pu leather girth protection area is complimented by an embossed logo and carries the usual signature LeMieux lower girth strap with its inner locking loops. The piece de resistance of the Loire Close Contact Square is its unique metal badge on a leather mount in the lower back corner

The LeMieux Self-Cooling Close Contact Saddle Pad is made with innovative FeelCool® Ice material, which has a cooling crystal kneaded into the weave and is activated by moisture. The greater the moisture, the greater the cooling effect! The crystals have incredible heat pick-up and transfer properties, gradually absorbing and wicking sweat from the horse. Under extreme conditions, once dissipated a reverse rapid cooling effect is produced. The carbon mesh spine insert reduces any pressure over the withers and back and allows heat to rise and escape through the top of the pad. The inner lining is the same self-cooling fabric as the top side, which is soft and friction-free and ensures the whole pad breathes and wicks at the same level. An ideal pad for use in hot and humid conditions or for horses that generally sweat a lot during work. Machine wash, air dry.

Superb low profile memory foam supports the saddle and evenly distributes the rider's weight and pressure. The panels of the saddle bed into the foam, which becomes more malleable and compliant as it warms up. The silicone grip provides additional support and secures the saddle in place. This increases stability and reduces any unwanted movement - no straps required. The carbon mesh spine insert ensures optimum wither relief and air flow as the pad's high wither shape reduces pressure.
