Works well and smells great
I’ve tried a number of natural fly sprays and I’m pleasantly surprised by this one. It works pretty well. We have a pretty heavy fly/gnat load this year, so I do spray the horses twice a day, but this is definitely helping.

Reasonably priced & works!
I have tried so many different kinds of fly sprays. This is the only spray I use in my training barn of 10 horses. None of them have any skin reactions, definitely keeps the flies away, and isn’t super oily like other sprays. It definitely has a smell that you will either love or hate!

Smells great and works.
This is the only fly spray I’ve found that works for the big nasty black horse flys. My horse will buck if one of these lands and bites his butt. Not all that fun. Been riding for over 40 years now and used repelx for many years. Get this it works.

Works for a shorter period of time.
I have used this product in the past, but with the hot, humid weather, it did not seem to work as long as it did in the past. I like natural products because they do not irritate my horses skin. They are also safer for the environment.

Seems to work okay
I like the less chemical smell of this product, I don’t think it lasts as long as permethrin based sprays but does a good job considering the price difference. I feel it’s more health for the horses and I to try to keep it as natural as possible.

If you're looking for an all natural fly spray, this is your go to. However, you have to re-apply it often, which I noticed is most natural fly sprays. It sprays on soapy, but it quickly dissolves into a non-greasy sheen. I recommend this if your horse is sensitive to chemicals.

Smells good but not sure it works
You know when you spray fly spray and the flies don't move? Well, that is pretty much how this one seems. I was so hopeful that I would like it. Maybe it will work on the mosquitoes. Not holding my breath.

It works!
This was my first time purchasing this fly spray and based on the reviews I thought I would give it a try! My mare has sensitive skin so I’m always a little concerned when trying something new.
It works well for several hours, and did not bother her sensitive skin at all and it smells good!

A natural fly spray that actually works!
I am NOT a fan of any fly spray that is labeled "natural," never found one that lasted more than 10 minutes. But this one REALLY WORKS! It has an overwhelming smell (nice, but WAY strong) when you spray it, but that fades away quickly. My horses were still fly-free on day 2 in Florida in June. And you really can't beat the price on this one either!

Great but why is it foamy?
I alternate with the water based Pyranha spray because I like to give the horses a break from the chemical version. This wine foams like soap when sprayed. Kind of strange, must be a surfactant ingredient. Smells real nice..

Best Fly Spray Of The Year
I say best of the year as it seems we have to change fly spray brands several times a year, I'm in south central Texas where the bugs NEVER die. This spray has worked great all year, so far, it is gentile on my sensitive skinned mare and does NOT have an abrasive odder like other all natural sprays do!

IT WORKS!!!
I bought this and we love it! Out fussy horse, Sky, is picky but he doesn't mind the smell much! Although he hates the sound of the spray bottle when using it on him! One day a wasp was coming after me! One squirt and he was instantly dead! Never seen anything like it! Thank you SmartPak! Another winner!!!

I bought this as I heard that bees do not like peppermint. I have a problem with bees around the barn and paddocks coming for the water and hay. My horse got stung so after some research I tried this fly spray along with my other spray. It seems to work as I have not had any issues since with the bees around the horses.

Works for a little while, smells great
The scent of this is really good. Fresh and like wintergreen. When I spray it someone says, that smells good. I use natural sprays because permethins and pyrethins can cause nerve damage. I think it's worth it that you have to put on more often. But that you do. It works great initially but isn't as long lasting. And with any natural spray one of my horses gets flaky skin after being in the sun with the spray from the oil base. This works as good as the other natural sprays for a much better price.

I was pleasantly surprised that it works so well. It also smells great. My only complaint is the way it gets sudsy when you spray it on but it wasn't a big deal for me.

Gently yet Effective
One horse at our barn has suffered from hives off and on all spring. We finally eliminated everything... it was the flyspray we were using. This poor girl was being tormented by the flyspray or the bugs until we began using this. Now she is so happy... the bugs stay away and no hives!

My barn owner is allergic to regular fly spray so I had to find something natural. I was actually surprised how well this worked. Not GREAT, but for the price it's pretty good. I will agree with some others - the sprayer is awful and will drive you crazy. You need to switch it out.
