Love these boots!
This is my 4 set of these boots and they are simply fabulous! They fit nearly everything and I've never had a problem with rubs! I use them on my babies and lower level xc boots. I can't say enough good things about them!

Great boots
I bought these boots to put on when riding in a wet ring and out on the trails to save my other boots. I just bought a second pair for the hind legs. A size medium for the fronts fits my 16h warmblood perfectly. These boots are easy to clean, stay in place, and look nice too. They're not bulky, but yet offer nice protection. I hose them off after a muddy ride, wipe them clean, and hang to dry in between washes. I cannot comment on durability yet since mine are fairly new, but they seem to be well made.

Best protective boot for foxhunting
These are by far the best protective boot to use for foxhunting. Simple, classic design blends into the horse and doesn't stand out. I've tried several different types of boots for my horse, and these are the only ones that NEVER have mud/dirt under them when I take them off, no matter what kind of nasty terrain we've been through. They also don't appear to retain excess heat...making them safe for long days in the saddle. The material is also very durable to hoof interference, briers, and branches. That being said, I think the hind boots will only make it one season (my horse rubs often and we ride through a lot of scrub), but the fronts will probably make it 2-3 seasons. Seeing the abuse I've put on these boots in the last year, I'm SO happy that it was not my horses legs!

Looks good and very durable
Love these boots. I was worried that the whole would be hard to clean. The boots was up nicely and are very durable.

Disappointing, but only option
Tried several brands of boots, but these were the only ones that fit my large warm blood. Unfortunately, the boots ripped out at the stitching holding the flexible plastic brush guard within the first week. There are no marks on the boots to indicate my horse's hoof impacted the boot. These boots are not inexpensive and I expected better from Woof.

Not the same as the product picture
The boots I received were not the same as the product picture-- the boots that came only have 2 velcro straps. Hope they last...
Sizing also runs large!! Had to return for a small for my 16hh TB.
Overall still nice quality.
SmartPak easy to work with as always.

Good Quality , Excellent Hold
I use these boots everyday. My only gripe is they are a bit fussy/complicated to put on. I am used to another brand that uses three velcro straps vs 6. Its not the boots fault. The verdit is out on what I choose next go round. Hopefully they will clean up easier than fleece lined boots and hold up better to hind clipping. Time will tell.

Great boots
I will admit that I have a problem with having too many boots. These are great for eventing because they don't hold water, but I do not prefer the double lock and they are somewhat expensive. Woof boots last, though, and I think are worth the investment. The elastic of the straps gets worn out eventually. They clean up well.

Great Protection
These boots stayed in place on my horses legs, never sagged or rubbed during marathon. Double lock feature is very secure.

Love these boots!
These Woof boots are so much cooler and easier to care for than all the ones I have used in the past. They are easy to put on and my guy seems comfortable in them. I had heard good things about the Woof boots and am not disappointed!

In regards to the size concern... I purchased a Medium for front and Large for hind for my 15.3 OTTB. I was a bit worried after reading the reviews but they fit perfectly, couldn't be more pleased! There is a size chart on the package and the sizes I ordered matched the recommendations. The boots held up just fine and stayed in place hacking through the snow. Love them!

Runs much larger than their regular brushing boots
I was surprised the sizing was so much larger than the regular brushing boots I've purchased for years, as in the medium is a large and the large equal to an extra large. I returned them for that reason and I think for me, the regular ones are a better buy for the price.

I like them!
My horse is difficult to size for boots. But these fit him very well. I bought them for turn out and so far they are holding up well, even in the mud. The only thing is, they are a bit pricey.

Nice, but too big
I liked the styling of these but they were too large for my 15.1 petite TB and they didn't come in a smaller size.

Excellent turn-out boots
I have used the Woof Wear double lock boots with my three horses for several years. I recently had to replace some of them because of tears just off center at the bottom rear. It's a little odd that they wore out on different horses in the same place, and the manufacturer should look into that weakness. However, overall I have been very pleased with these boots, and the horses can't remove them because of the double locking system. My horses' legs are well protected during their turn-out time. I wish there were a way to protect other parts of their bodies as well as this product does for their legs.

Great boots!
Needed an easy to use boot for interference. The double locking boots certainly aren't coming off! Once you get used to working with all that velcro, they are a breeze. I am riding a 16.2 TB and bought the mediums for front and the large for rear. Size is perfect.

Secure with no rubs
These boots work great, stay on, do not cause rubs and are pretty easy to keep clean (ok, the paint off the jump rails is a bit more challenging than the mud, but its what they're there for). They have stood up to several seasons of event training and showing as well as hunting. Recommend not putting them in the washing machine, however, as 3 of 4 came out fine, but the 4th came out with the velcro about 50% gone (boots still functional, but no longer secure enough for eventing or hunting where you can't stop to fix it).

I really like these boots because they are light weight and offer great protection. They are easy to put on and fit securely. Also, these boots can be used on either the front or hind legs.

They stay put!
I bought the double interlocking brush boots to replace a pair of "normal" interlocking brush boots where the strap broke. It is a bit more of a hassle to put these boots on than the regular interlocking boots however, they do stay in place and are wearing well. I am using these as turn out boots for my highly accident prone thoroughbred.

Tough tough boots
I've had my first set for 15 years now. I jumped in them on my first horse for about a year. We evented BN and did 2nd level dressage all in these boots. I had my second horse in Alaska. In the arena we focused on dressage but trail rode several times a week in the woods. Then moved to another state and used them cross country. We were outside three times a week galloping for miles, over logs, and through creeks. The straps never came undone and there are only a few nicks in the neoprene along the bottom. All stitching is intact. They are my lucky boots and I'll be sad when they finally die.
Bought a pair of used single Velcro for my youngster. They don't seem as sturdy and I will get him his own pair of double lock Velcro when he goes cross country. I love even the cheaper single lock though. Both of my horses are sensitive skinned princesses. Bought the boy a fancier brand and he hate them. It's woof boots all the way for my ponies.
As far as size I am not sure if they run large. Both of my horses are big boned. One is a 16h appendix and the other a very big boned 16.2 tb cross. Mediums on front and larges on back are perfect. I do think the double Velcro look a little bigger.

Big but great!
I bought these boots in spring 2011 and they have held up to my low level eventing and my fox hunting (I know traditionalists would NEVER wear boots hunting but it makes me feel better about keeping my horse's legs safe.). We hunt every weekend during the season and these boots are just now starting to show wear. Great boots and durability for the price!!!! I will say the sizing is funky though. I have a 15.3 QH and his medium fronts are perfect but the hinds are a smidge small... not enough to complain though. I leave his tail a little long and no one will notice, all the crucial places are protected.

Just OK
You know the reviews on this product were very good so maybe I was expecting too much. The double lock system is not quick to get on or off. The materials are good quality but my TB is 16 hh and the medium is still a little large for him on the front.

I bought these in the spring of 2012 for use in XC for lower level events. I've used them for shows and for schooling, and they've held up really well. I just throw them in the wash before a show, and they come out looking brand new. The only downside is that they run a smidge large. According to the measurement chart my horse should have been a medium up front, but I found that they were a little bigger than his older Woof boots. He doesn't have a particularly short cannon bone either. It wasn't enough of a difference to return them; they stay in place perfectly. They just extend a little farther past his fetlock.
