Instructions for Use:
It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. Do not use on horses or foals intended for slaughter. Wash hands with soap and water promptly after use.
SHAKE WELL BEFORE USING: Before applying WIPE® Original Formula Fly Protectant to your horse, brush him down thoroughly to remove loose dust and dirt. Moisten, but do not soak, a folded piece of Turkish toweling (approximately 12” x 15”) or an applicator mitt with WIPE® Original Formula Fly Protectant. Rub briskly against the growth direction of the hair. Give special attention to the shanks, legs, shoulders, neck and facial areas of the horse where flies tend to cause the greatest problems. Add more WIPE® Original Formula Fly Protectant to the applicator as needed, applying approximately one to two ounces for the total application on a daily basis (the variance will depend on the size of the horse). Groom with a brush. To kill attached ticks, dab WIPE® Original Formula Fly Protectant directly on the tick with a saturated cloth. Do not apply over cuts, wounds, or irritated skin. Do not apply near eyes and mouth. Apply sparingly around ears.

This stuff works!
Like most horse owners, we try every different brand of fly spray to try to help our horses get some relief from those annoying and painful flies. ....hundreds of dollars every fly season!! I found someone at my barn who used Wipe and watched as they applied it...I've never seen flies repelled so well! it was amazing to see them dropping off her horse's legs...and new ones that approached were repelled instantly. This stuff is great!

This lasts for DAYS!!
Yeah, it does cost more than some other sprays...but it really works and I don't have to spray horses everyday if I use it. It really does work for up to 3 days for me, and we have a LOT of flies including deer and horse flies. My horses seem very comfortable when I use this. Well worth the few extra dollars!

Works well, use sparingly
This product works well, but must be applied sparingly. I applied with a sponge in the morning and my mare broke out in hives by the evening--I used way too much. Used a small amount on a cloth the next time and worked better. Lasts all day. Great for gnats under belly.

Keeps the flies away
I have used many fly repellent products over the past 45 years and I always come back to WIPE. While all the other horses are swatting flies or running to get away from them my horse is quietly eating grass. While I wish it was an all natural product I'd rather see him NOT stomping his feet or being driven crazy by the bugs!!

It works
Been using this brand since I was a kid at horseback riding camp in the Pocono mountains where the bugs are horrible in the summer months. I even used to put it on my face because the knats and flys just used to swarm around our heads as we were riding. This product keeps the bugs away.

Love this product

Wipe Fly Protectant Still Great!
Been using this brand since a kid at summer riding camp in the Pocono Mountians in the 70's!! Still works great and every time I smell it I get such great memories of all those fun times at camp!! Still think a little pricey though.

Preferred Fly Protectant
I have used WIPE for several years now and found it to be my preferred product for fly control on my RMH. I like that it stays on better and appears to condition the coat rather than dry it out. A little bit goes a long way.

Old Faithful
With the unusual weather patterns this year the flies are horrid. I have been able to get by with Bronco the last few years but not this one. Used this stuff as a kid and now I believe I will keep with it. Not fond of the mess but Extremely happy with the results.

The only stuff that stays on!
Ive always used sprays and they never lasted longer than a few hours. this stuff is still repelling flies 2-3 days after I apply it! I pour some on a sponge and wipe it on the horses legs and face. Done. EZ. Happy horses!

I have tried at least a dozen different fly repellents and WIPE by far works the best. I'm a trail rider so this oil based product tends to attract dust. If you are showing/competing and a dust magnet is a problem you may not want this great fly spray for those times.

About as good as it gets
I've never found the perfect fly repellent and Wipe isn't perfect either. It definitely does the job, just wish it lasted longer. It does keep my horse bug free in his paddock all day. He comes in at night where the bugs aren't bad in the barn at all, so I'm not sure when Wipe's effectiveness wears off, but I always have to reapply the next day when he goes out again.

Long lasting fly repellant
I like this fly repellant because it's long lasting and doesn't need to be applied every day. It is oil based and adheres to the coat better than most sprays that I have used.

Only fly spray I use
This has been the only fly spray that works for me. Everything else I have used, I can spray right on the flies and they aren't at all affected. This works wonders, the flies disappear and die as soon as they are sprayed. This is a life saver, I highly recommend.

Better than most
First time trying Wipe..it does seem to last longer than most sprays. I only used it on several horses' faces and necks, and noticed an immediate lessening of flies landing there. Did not use it on the entire horse, as per label directions, or I would have used the whole bottle in 1-2 days.

Reliable When Nothing Else Works
I've been using this for years in an area where regular fly spray is just picante sauce to our insect population. I love that you rub it into the coat, and that it really lasts. In fact, unlike most products, it lasts longer than advertised.
THE GOOD: effective & laaaaaasts!
THE BAD: nothing really.
THE ICKY: you do need to think about how you want to apply this, because anything this effective on bugs probably isn't something you want to work with carelessly. I've purchased Absorbine's Mitt to apply it, and it works much better than towels or sponges.

It Really works!
I love this stuff. My horses disliked being sprayed and danced around every time I sprayed them. So fly spray was not working. I decided to try this and they all stand still and let me wipe them down. I used it on their whole bodies. I wipe them down every morning and it lasts until the next morning. I use the show mitt that stores in it's own plastic bag. I wear vinyl gloves under the mitt while applying the wipe. I have 4 horses and the routine goes fast and they think they are getting a massage. It is a little oily but that is a minor detail compared to it's effectiveness.

Best Fly Wipe
If you want a wipe that lasts this is the one to buy. I use this when I really need a good fly wipe, i.e., when the flies are relentless. I use a sponge to apply it and use it only on his legs. This wipe lasts close to 24 hrs, which in my opinion, is excellent. I use the wipe spray on the rest of his body. Great, great product.

FLY SPRAY THAT LASTS !!
We have used wipe for years, it stays on the horses longer so therefore it works longer. It is slightly oily, so it brings any dirt to the surface so, We don't use it when we're showing, but for here on the farm and trail riding, there's nothing better !!

Great Product.
I have a mare that is very sensitive and I cannot use most of the other products on. I can use the Wipe on her and she does not break out into hives and it works for a few days. It is a little more expensive than some of the others but is the only one that works for my mare.

bugs still biting
this years bug population has been extremely high. I'm sure it is due to the above average temps and humidity we have had here in Michigan. I have tried numerous products this year trying to give my 3 horses some sort of relief from these pests. The Wipe brand was suggested to me by a friend and horse owner . She claimed she had been happy with this product the year before. However I have not found much or any improvement in deterring the biting bugs. It does have a pleasant smell and seems to stretch further than the other brands. So I am just rating this product as average

Best Fly Protectant I've found
We have a lot of biting flies (mosquitoes, deer flies, horse flies) and this is the only stuff I've found that really works on them. I love it! I wish it was a bit less expensive but it's still worth it.
