Rated 3 out of 5 by Suess from Too stretchy, slides back, rubs point of shoulders Shoulder rubs on day 7 - rug slides back and becomes tight at point of shoulders within an hour or so. On the same day, we ordered this one (Comfitec Zephyr Plus), a Rambo Protector and an Amigo Bug Buster for 3 horses of unremarkable build and all wear the same size in these brands, for sheets and blankets; as of just day 7 of wear (8-10hrs/day, at small-lot turnout) the only horse with rubs (bald spots) is the one wearing the Comfitec Zephyr Plus. Weatherbeeta makes good products; however, the soft slightly stretchy fabric of this sheet makes the sheet slide back, leaving it tight at the point of each shoulder- the more the horse moves, the tighter it seems to get at the shoulders. I don't think that ordering a size smaller would help, but it is possible. The only good feature is that the attached neck is proportionally sized (the Rambo Protector's neck is overly long; the Amigo Bug Rug neck is well-sized). At this point, am not sure if the Amigo Bug Rug with No Fly Zone (which is similarly soft and slightly stretchy) or the old-school Rambo Protector (traditional mesh, very little if any stretch) will be the best of the three. With any of the soft mesh sheets, their velcro will snag it and, I suspect, so will fences, doorways, other horses, foliage, etc. Have used the old-fashioned stiffer mesh fly sheets for 25yrs (E.g., old Rambo, old Amigo, old Hug) and suspect that the stiffer mesh is both more durable at turn-out, particularly for horses of average of higher activity, and less likely to cause rubs than the newer softer mesh sheets.

Rated 3 out of 5 by KCKC2 from Expected better Not exactly happy with this flysheet. After one day of wear, the stripe that runs down the middle of the sheet had already come unstitched on one side. Also, there is a big gap between the neck cover and the front of the sheet when fastened. Yes, I can just spray fly spray there but it seems that the two pieces should come together better.
