Had holes in the first couple days
I bought two of these and one had a hole and both had wear on them within the first couple days. If I could do it again, I would have gone with a different brand.

Good quality, but odd sizing and not adjustable.
I loved the quality of this blanket, but the 78" was huge on my pretty standard 78" fellow, and without adjustable buckles in the front I couldn't make it work. I'm using a Dover Northwind instead this year, as the front is infinitely adjustable and the quality equally as good. Shame, as it looks like a warm, nicely made blanket.

Beautiful, great fitting blanket
I bought this blanket for my big shouldered, high withered Saddlebred mare. She is 16 and gets colder faster than my other horse. I saw other people complaining about fit, but she's a 75 and this fit her true to size. My pony is in a 72 and his also fits true to size. I dont mind the velcro neck attachment, I like the front closures, and overall I really think its a well made blanket especially for the price point.

Cute!
Great, well made blanket, cute colors, fits as is should, decent price. As with most Weatherbeeta blankets, the neck is too big for my QH and she looks like one of those earless goats when she picks her head up from grazing. It annoys her but amuses me, so we're okay with it.

Great blanket!
I have a 16.2 OTTB who is a normal 78. I purchased a 78 and the blanket fit him perfectly. I really love the detachable neck cover! I enjoy how the neck cover is attached with Velcro instead of clips because there is never a chance of losing the attachment pieces. The blanket has also not given my horse any rubs which is very rare to find a blanket that does not give him rubs.

Poor design.
As the other reviewer I am shocked at the quality and design flaws that seem to have become the norm with WB. Mostly I am shocked at the gusset system. They admit that the new system doesn't allow the horse free movement. Is this an attempt to hobble the horse that is turned out? The chest is a very poor fit and their belly is exposed. I understand trying to save money on production but really I would pay extra for the old design. I won't be buying WB again.

Come on, Weatherbeeta...
I've bought many, MANY Weatherbeeta blankets over the years because they have always been quality blankets. But after my last few blanket purchases, this one in particular, I have noticed way too many problems to not voice my frustrations once and for all.
This blanket is made of 100% superior quality material, like one would expect from Weatherbeeta. But that and the reflective strips are its only redeeming value. Like other Weatherbeeta blankets I've bought in the last few years, the sizing is extremely inconsistent between models/years. I have several WB blankets of the same sizes and they all fit wildly differently. This one happened to be way too short in the front; the bottom of the horse's chest was exposed, while his older WB blanket of the same size/weight fit perfectly.
The design choices WB makes continue to baffle me. Non-adjustable front close straps? Hoods that only attach via Velcro and nothing else? (Seriously, how hard would it be to add a D-ring or two to the collar??) Super high-neck collar with no means of adjustment? Colors limited to one or two fugly choices? Please. It's 2018 and even the cheap-o blanket brands have all these features and more. I sincerely hope at some point Weatherbeeta devotes some more thought and resources into keeping the design features on par with the quality of the materials they use; otherwise I'll be shopping for a different brand for my horses.
