Needs more ventilation
From the outside it looks like there is good ventilation but most of the vents are covered by the think foam liner on the inside. They are just holes in the outside of the helmet that serve no purpose at all.

Saved My Skull
Recently I was riding and my horse dumped me. I hit the back of my head hard on a dirt road and my helmet prevented me from recieving any head/brain injury while the rest of my body was torn up. While the helmet did crack when it made contact with the hard ground, it is great quality for a great price. I would rather crack my helmet (rightfully so after a large fall) then it be my skull. Ordering a new one right away once I can ride again.

Perfect for my toddler!

The most comfortable helmet I've worn
I bought one of these several years ago and it's so lightweight and comfortable that sometimes I forget I'm wearing it. That's saying a lot for someone who HATES hats and never wears them! This summer my horse tripped and fell with me at the canter and I smacked the back of my head upon landing in the arena. I decided to buy another helmet (exactly the same except color) just in case the one I was wearing sustained any damage.

Love it!
I bought this about a month ago, and I am really impressed with this helmet. The fit is good, and the dial makes it so nice. I think it looks really good, and I would show at a low level in it. It also has great ventilation.

Great schooling helmet!
I purchased this helmet after damaging my previous one. I've always enjoyed Troxels, they are durable and have fun colors. This helmet is comfortable and fun, I love the color. Not too heavy. I like the dial system, makes for a good snug fit.

Happy With This Product
I bought this for my son who rides occasionally. He really loves the fit and I was surprised by how well made the helmet was.
It also looks very elegant on him. Nice enough that I would allow him to show at a local non-rated show in it.
Thinking of getting one for myself so that I can save my nice helmet for the shows.

Great helmet
Great helmet and it fits my head perfectly. Lightweight and it doesn’t look like a mushroom on my head. Side foam panels for increased cushioning. I love that you can wash the liner also and it snaps back in easily.

Bought this for my 8-year old granddaughter who is just learning to ride. I wish I had ordered a medium as the small provides no room for expansion and she has it at the maximum circumference. I ordered small based on the recommended sizing, but there is no room for growth.

Great helmet for the price!
Love this helmet. I bought it to replace my old CO GR8. The ventilation is fantastic. The dial fit makes it easy to adjust. I ride up to 4 horses a day, and this helmet keeps my head cool. Highly recommended.

Perfect Fit
I am always afraid to buy items without being able to try them on. I called Smartpak to order it this helmet. I told the rep what size western hat my daughter wore. When the helmet arrived it fit my daughter perfectly! And it is a really nice looking helmet.

Better than previous Troxel
I've used this helmet a few times now. Previous helmet was a Different Troxel model and it caused massive headaches.
This one seems to fit a lot better. So far no headaches, although I haven't wore it for longer than 30-45 minutes yet.
It is adjustable in the back and has small side panels allowing for minor adjustment side-to-side.
It has redeemed the Troxel brand in my eyes.

I've always had Troxel Helmets. I noticed that my current helmet was getting too small, so I decided to upgrade! I love the Liberty!! It's comfortable and doesn't make you look like a mushroom! Recommend to anyone! I ordered the Large and it fits great. The price doesn't break the bank either!

Recently bought after a fall compromised the other helmet. The dial feature is very nice to ensure a custom fit, and the vents will for sure come in handy in the summer. Very comfortable, and a professional look despite being a "cheaper" brand!

Incredible deal
I have owned this helmet for about 3 years now and today was my last ride in it as it cracked after a fall today. It literally saved my life and certainly protected my head like it should have. I can't stress enough the importance of wearing a helmet and this one is so well made and so comfortable and comes in at a steal of a price. It breathes well, fits well, and it is really well made. Highly recommended!!

Great schooling helmet
I bought this to replace my previous Troxel after a fall. I've always had great luck with this brand. They have saved my life more times than one. This one fits very nice and doesn't make you look like you have a giant head! Very stylist for a great price. It's not been super hot so I can't comment on the ventilation. I like the adjustable fit dial for a more custom fit. It has a normal snap not the magnetic one the other Troxel's have. Which I personally like this snap better. Overall it's a great schooling helmet. I would say lower level showing it would be perfectly fine too!
