Favorite breeches
I bought my first pair of these a couple months ago, loved them, and have since bought two more pairs. My favorite feature is definitely the fabric, which is a smooth athletic type material that I find very breathable for long days at the barn or
show grounds. I also like the modern silicone knee grips in place of the traditional knee patch. As another review said, you can see the outline of the front pockets, but that doesn’t bother me. The only thing that I’m slightly concerned about is that some of the threads on my oldest pair are fraying a bit, especially where the inside button is sewn on.
I’m 5’5” and 125lbs with a small waist and full calves. 24R fits perfectly from the knees up, but is a little too tight on my calves, so I sized up to 26R. Those are a little too big in the waist but are ultimately more comfortable.

The fit is good the over all look is good the fabric is way too thin! You can see the outline of the empty pockets. These were a return for me

Favorite breeches!
I bought these from a local tack store a while ago. Quickly became my favorite pair; I use them as three season and ride quite a bit. Fabric doesn’t stain easily and mud comes right off, and they keep you cool in the summer!
Super stretchy; I’m 5’2/118lbs and a 24R or a 26R fit me great:)

I LOVE THESE!
I wish they weren't sold out of my size and that I could have them in black. They really are legit compression tights and the material is sturdy, well made and the stickiness of the full seat is superb! I'm 5'3 and 130lbs and I got a size 28 and they're awesome, awesome, awesome!

My New Favorite!
I’ve had a couple pairs of these for a few months now. They are no worse for wear. They clean up great and aren’t even really showing any stains from my saddle. I love the material. I am considering the white, tan and taupe pairs so maybe I can show in these.
The waistband is the most flattering I’ve found. It has silicon grips built into the waistband so your shirt stays tucked in and it doesn’t really move. Plus, there’s something technical to the fit. It doesn’t pull down on my belt. It just sits so well on my waist.
There are no knee patches, but instead silicon grips over the knees. I actually love this feature, especially in the South Texas summer heat. Believe it or not, knee patches sometimes cause me to blister. These are a brilliant alternative. It still provides grip, but the material over your inner leg is completely seamless, not a single stitch or seam to blister on.
Tredstep has become my go to for riding pants. I love, love, love these.

Love these!
Lightweight breathable and stretchy fabric. Perfect for the summer heat and humidity. Very flattering fit for my athletic but curvy body. These are my new favorite affordable riding britches ever! I can't speak yet on durability, but I have never been let down by Tredstep products.

Great fabric
The fabric on these breeches is great--sleek microfiber that you just cannot get dirty. Stains and liquid just brush off. It's a perfect light weight for summer. My only complaint is that you can slightly see the outline of the pocket fabric. The length is fine, even for long legged riders.

High quality with one glaring miss
I bought these looking for a higher end schooling breech that was both durable and sharp looking. I wanted a mid-rise versus a low-rise because I'm fairly curvy in the rear and the low-rise breeches tend to slide down my hips a little. I also wanted a wide waistband for comfort reasons and I think it looks better. It's hard to find all of these things in a breech and I thought I'd give these a go despite having silicon grips instead of knee patches.
Well, they fit great and look amazing, seem durable and breathable. So I cut off the tags and rode in them only to discover that I really don't like the silicon grips.
I'm here to tell you...hold out for the knee patches if that's what you want! The grips are weird.

Wish they came in more colors - I’d buy them all! Super comfortable, fit great, and when the first thing I did was spill coffee on them, it wiped right off! Brilliant! Perfect material for summer riding. I’m in love!

Excellent Breeches
I urgently needed a pair of comfortable, fresh, classy schooling breeches and decided to try the Nero II. I typically 2-3 horses a day in Tailored or Struck and wanted something more affordable as I go through them quite quickly. The Treadstep Nero II breech is AMAZING for hot weather, great knee grip (has not peeled), and looks really good on a curvy figure. Love the higher waist. I will definitely be buying more colors and adding to my collection. So comfortable!
