Why We Love This
SmartPak exclusive color! This dark brown ThinLine Half Pad gives you and your horse the best in discreet shock absorption and comfort. Used under the saddle and over a cotton pad, this half pad will mold to the horse's shape when warmed to body temperature, providing protection to the horse's back, improving saddle fit, and reducing the rider's movement.
ThinLine recommends this pad be used between your saddle and regular saddle pad. Most customers use cotton or wool pads underneath. While you can use ThinLine pads directly on the horses back, the lifespan of the pad may be shortened and it voids the warranty.
Wipe clean or hose off with cold water. Mild soaps and detergents can be used, but please do not put them in the dryer! Wipe dry or hang to dry.

Love these pads
I have a white version of this pad and bought the dark brown so I'd have one for both horses when a friend goes riding with me - and because the white one is no longer white enough to use at shows! So awesome for my back and the horse's backs. My hanoverian used to be sensitive in his back when you'd brush him but not since using the ultra thin line pad, which I started doing 2 years ago.

Good fit, like color
Used for 2 wks, seems to fit well and must add to my horse's comfort. Bought to enhance saddle fit while my horse gains weight/muscle. Really like brown color as it matches my saddle and isn't unsightly.

nice and cost effective pad
I bought this 3 weeks back to go with my new to me saddle. It's a nice thing pad that allows a thin layer of comfort for a saddle that fits well. It's less expensive than the larger size. I'm happy with it and would recommend it.

Thin without the bulk, but still supportive
Bought this a month ago after my mare started having a sore back. I thought my saddle fit her pretty well, but I got this just in case. Peace of mind for me.

Not for us
I bought this pad hoping to give my sensitive TB a more relaxed ride. Turned out he did not like this half pad at all. He expressed his feelings once I mounted. He needs a more supportive pad. This pad was too thin. If he didn't need so much support it may have worked out.

Really happy with this purchase!
I bought this product to replace another gel pad that I had. I really wanted to make sure my mare's back was protected and she was comfortable. I really like this half pad. I stays in place, fits nicely, and she seems to be moving very nicely. Her back is no longer sensitive when I brush her. I am very happy with this purchase!
