The Busy Buddy, or horse pacifier, is the ultimate relaxation tool for horses! The perfect way to encourage your horse to relax in a variety of situations without having to use supplements, medications, or twitching techniques. Developed for use with all horses at any stage of life or training. When horses are relaxed, we see gentle chewing, licking, or saliva which looks like foam. Activating the jaw generates relaxation throughout the horse’s entire body and brain, and the Busy Buddy stimulates this relaxation process.
The Halter Busy Buddy can help with fretting, biting, and kicking on the crossties. It can also provide a relaxing toy during clipping, grooming, and vet or farrier appointments. Two clips attach the Busy Buddy to your halter.
The Bridle Busy Buddy is specially designed to be used with a bridle and a bit. It can help keep horses from chewing on your reins, and also relaxes them on trail rides for a better experience. Helpful at horse shows while waiting to go in the ring. When used while lunging, it encourages relaxation of the jaw and muscles over the back. A clip and ring thread though the bit rings and attach this Busy Buddy to your bridle.
The Busy Buddy should fit loosely in the horse’s mouth; it should not pull the corners of the mouth. Find the position where they begin to chew when inserting the Busy Buddy into your horse's mouth. Made of industrial, hospital-grade Latex tubing, ThinLine bit guards, and elasticized rope.
