I’m obsessed — love this so much!!
I try to ride bareback often, and I’ve never ridden with a pad before this. I love this product SO MUCH! Doesn’t slide on the horse at all, and it grips me very well! Extremely comfortable and easy to wash. Honestly I bought it for these Texas summers where I don’t want to be covered in horse sweat after my ride. But I will be using this year-round!

I really wanted to like the ThinLine Bareback Pad as I have used several of their products in the past with success. However, I am afraid it did not aid me in riding my mare bareback. It is OK if you wish to keep your breeches clean during riding. But as far as improving riding performance bareback, it really did not help me out. The quality of the pad is fine, but I was expecting the pad to provide more stability during riding. I am a bit disappointed! I will be looking into different types of bareback pads that might provide more support.

Great bareback pad!
This is a great bareback pad that makes you feel secure when riding. I used to own a pad which had a girth that was only adjustable on one side, and it was never tight enough to stay in place. With this Thinline Bareback Pad, you can tighten the girth from both sides and it makes it a really snug fit.
I also opted to go with the brown color, which looks great on my bay quarter horse.

Comfy & Worth the $
Bough back in 2017 (admittedly during a sale), and I use it constantly. Easy to clean & it's held up great. Good grip and comfortable for both me and my sensitive mare - she enjoys it more than most saddles I've had through the years... It's my go-to when I suspect we're having a saddle fit issue. I use a pad underneath it, but you don't have to. The girth is a little set back, or maybe it's just my short-backed girl? If this thing had stirrups I'd probably ditch saddles altogether! (Joking. Well...)

Lovely pad!
This pad is super comfortable for me and my horse. He usually doesn't like being ridden bareback because my weight isn't spread out like it would be in a saddle. This pad solved that problem! The thinline material also makes it really easy to sit his trot, and I'm no longer bothered by his sharp withers. The surface is pretty slippery if you wear jeans to ride; I usually have excellent balance but had to grab mane a few times. In breeches (especially full seats) I don't think it would be a problem.

Cupcake Saver
So I have a OTTB and you know what that mean, shark fin Withers, making riding bareback a cupcake crusher. Its like riding a cloud and transitions didn't have the ouchiness like before. I have recommended this to several of my friends and it's been a big hit. It also is grippy on both sides meaning it doesn't slide on the horses back (it also come with a girth like strap that is really only there to keep pad in place) and you don't slide. Its great for getting into shape for No Stirrup November.

Better than expected
The quality was obvious when I pulled it out of the box (I'm rating the durability based on the quality). Used it on a warm day in a group lesson on my round Morgan and it was amazingly stable...and so was I! I focused on the instructor and didn't worry about my balance. The girth fit perfectly (just above his elbow) and he was really happy with the roller buckles and elastic. Love the Sympanova bottom and the built-in spine channel. Good for my horse, good for me!

Searched for a LONG time for a bareback pad that had everything I wanted! This one fits the bill and is so comfortable. Super, super happy with it! Worth every penny! I love the rings and removable girth so I can add a breast collar (and a cinch that can attach to a breast collar) for my high-withered guy. My horse has had issues with being back-sore, so I use this with a Back On Track saddle pad and it has been working wonderfully! Highly recommend this pad!

Life Changing
So i got this bareback pad and instantly fell in love. The gel is amazing and its so comfortable; so confortable i went out and did cross country for over 2 hours no problem at all. The only thing i would warn about it the nylon can rub on the wither so i would not use it for a long ride because it can chafe.

So cumfy!!
Have only ridden in this pad a couple times so far, but I’m really excited about it. I’ve always had crummy bareback pads that slipped around and made the horses too hot in the summer. It seems like it would even be comfortable if you wore shorts riding in the summer.

Fantastic bareback pad!
I love LOVE this bareback pad. It's super comfortable for how things it is. Stays in placevery well, my fleece one kept sliding back so much that I was barely sitting on it. The main reason I chose this pad is because of the girth placement. It is set further back from the front edge of the pad and really helps keep the pad where it's supposed to be! The thinline seat helps me feel like I won't bounce right off my horse when doing more than a walk. The ONLY thing I would change would be to put English style billets on so different size girths can be used.

The BEST bareback pad
I was worried I'd never use this, but it is so comfy and easy that I ride in it all the time! I love riding bareback in the winter and this is an easy no-fuss way to go. I often throw it on and ride in whatever I happen to have on. We go on hacks or work on movement in the arena. The only thing I don't like is that it's not "sticky" - it's not slippery either though.
