great staple for any rider’s closet!
The thicker material is nice so it does reveal every lump and bump like thinner legging style breeches do. They have kind of weird fit around the waist for me like kind of loose and rigid.

Low rise don't work for me
I love TS mid rise and the mid rise side zip breeches. I use them for showing and they wear like iron. I tried these for the colors but they don't fit right. I wear a 30L in the mid rise but the 32 added an lovely muffin top. No thanks! TS, please make neat colors in your mid rise versions!

Great fit!
I love the fabric of these! They hold their shape and are sturdy, but are also very comfortable to ride in. The fit's flattering; especially for someone with wide hips and a small waist, these don't gap at the waist nearly as much as some other brands (cough, Piper, Ariat). The colors are fun, too, while still being classy. As to the Velcro bottoms, they're designed well enough that they lay completely flat and don't bother me at all when riding. Sock bottoms would be more convenient for getting them on and off and for not destroying my other clothing in the wash, though...

Only Breeches I Buy!
These breeches have taken over my wardrobe! I can't say one bad thing about them. It has gotten to the piont where I don't even consider other brands. These are worth every penny. I find that most of the $300+ breeches are not even as good as these. I love the material they are made of and they fit so many different body types. Most people complain about the velcro bottoms, but I personally love it. Tailored Sportsman has the most color selection of any breeches by far! you can get classy neutrals or bold colors that make a statement in any ring. They are super trendy, I see them at big shows like WEF and Devon, but I also see people school in them at home.

I bought these for my daughter for Christmas. The sizing is perfect. Just like the regular tan ones. My daughter says the barn owner told her she loves watching her ride because shes "so put together". Very trendy!

Love These!!
I decided to treat myself to these breeches after seeing them around and wanting them for a few months, and I am sure glad I did! (I bought the navy (black blue) with the vintage patch). These are the perfect thickness and they wash up fantastically. When I wash them, however, they get babied - on their own in the washer on delicate with just blue dish soap on the knee patches to bring the patches back to their original color (they get darker faster for me being that I ride dressage) then hung to dry. They always look just as they did when I bought them. I expect these breeches to last a long time! My all time favorite thing about them is that they're thick enough that I can tuck a shirt in and not have it look super lumpy if I do not tuck it in exactly flat! Some people complain about the fact that the hooks pinch you, but if you tuck your shirt in, you do not get pinched. I also don't find the fact that they do not have a sock bottom to be the end of the world, especially being a shorter person (5'1) with super small ankles; I like being able to make the ankles small enough. Being 5'1, the regular length is a little long on me, but everything is a little long on me, so I don't find this to be a problem. These may run a little small, but I really think how you find the sizing to be depends on your body shape.

Stylish!
I only wear tailored and have exclusively been wearing them for 15 years. I recently bought two pairs. The boyson berry color is so chic for fall and I get tons of compliments. They got great and they are easily washed.

Just like the tailoreds we all know and love, amazing quality and fit, well worth the price! And the dark knee patches on these are so cute! I bought them in rust (for those retro days!) and they are great! I just got them a few weeks ago but im guessing they will hold up like my other tailoreds I've had for years!

Love these breeches. The tan knee patch is beautiful. They fit perfectly. As other people mentioned the buckles in front do pinch if you bend over but as long as your shirt is tucked in you won't even notice.

The tan patch really is a lovely addition. I received so many compliments the first day I wore them to the barn. The Black Olive color was a good selection. It is a dark and very muted green. Those who had complemented the tan patch said at first they thought the color was a charcoal grey but upon closer inspection noticed the green hue. I have seen the Black Forest color in person and it is a much more vibrant green. I will likely be picking up a pair in Black & Blue before they are discontinued, the tan patch makes these breeches stunning.

LOVE THE COLORS!
First off, I LOVE my tailored sportsman breeches, not only are they COMFORTABLE but they are durable!! I have a very hard time finding breeches that fit properly (either they fit the waist but are baggy on my rear, or just don't). I wear a 34 and they fit perfectly! They was beautifully and are not too long (I am pretty short so I usually run into a length issue). I also love ALL the colors that these come in and that the patches are a bit darker. The pair I just got was the rust, which I had been waiting for for MONTHS to be available! it is a beautiful terracotta color and can't wait to school in them this weekend. If you are on the fence about spending the money, one pair will change your mind.

Best breeches ever
My first real pair of TS, i got the mulberry and they're perfect. I got a pair of TS for free a couple years ago and HATED them. Little did i know they were from the 60s. I'm so happy I decided to give TS another try because these are by far the best breeches i've ever had. Fit great, super stretchy soft and comfy, look great and professional! Worth way more than their price!!!

Everyone needs a pair of rust breeches
Fell in love with the green pair, but couldn't commit to the price until the rust came out. I prefer side-zip--I find them more flattering and overall like the fit better--but I like these and haven't had a pinching problem and am a big fan of the TS stretchy material. Definitely recommend--get them now, you need a pair.

i am a big fan of the side-zip mid-rise. i bought these because of the color, and i got many compliments on them. but every time i bent over to pick my horse's feet, i got pinched in the belly. there really needs to be a piece of fabric over the hardware. so now i'm giving them away. huge waste of money. would TS ever consider making these in a side-zip? especially side-zip and mid-rise? please?

My favorite breeches
10 out of my 13 pairs of Tailoreds have the tan patch. I love tailored sportsman trophy hunter breeches in general, but there's something about the contrasting tan patch that makes them extra special. I wish that Smartpak carried more colors!

Perfect Comfy Fit!
I am not a rider, but these pants have such a classic, upscale look! I bought them in both black and white with the tan patches and can't wait to wear them on a trip to Europe. The 4 way stretch fabric gives wonderful support, but doesn't make you feel uncomfortable. They move with you and keep their shape perfect! Love them!
