After our show at WEF, my daughter and her friend decided to try to climb the palm trees, in their show clothes (which included her brand new Tailored Sportsman breeches). I was concerned that she may have damaged the knee patches or snagged the inner thigh in her momments of fun. They still look new with no signs of abuse. They have a great fit and very comfortable. She loves these breeches.
I will definately purchase these again.

So Happy!
I am in love with Tailored Sportsmans... I bought these as my show pair. I just love them and they look great. I have beed riding in them 6 days a week 1-3 horses a day and they are still in pretty good condition. I just ordered a new pair for this show season andI can't wait to get them! So worth the money!

Flattering but not very durable
I was absolutely thrilled with these breeches when I purchased a pair in brown for schooling. The material and fit is very flattering. I love the 2" waistband and euro seat. The problem is that after less than 6 months of regular wear, giant holes wore into the seat of the pants. I wish I could recommend these breeches, but they are simply not durable enough for regular wear. This is disappointing in a ~$140 breech. I recommend purchasing Kerrits schooling breeches instead. Most Kerrits styles seem both durable and flattering.

Nice Breeches
Nice pair of breeches. The fit might be slightly bigger then my other 26 breeches. They are a great style and color for show. These are the first pair of Tailored Sportsman I have purchased and would buy more of their products even though the price is higher so is the quality.

Love Them!
These breeches are very comfortable for every day riding. I dont feel they are quite sharp enough for the show ring, because of the fabric. If tailored sportsman came out with this cut in the royal or supreme hunter fabric I'd own 20 pairs. The pants shrunk slightly in the leg, so if long legged i would recommend going with the long, or maybe a size up. Normal am a 26 and they fit perfect minus leg length. Very durable and easy to care for. A must if you ride daily.

Wear them everyday
These breeches get worn every day. I also have a pair I got over a year ago and they are still in great shape. Easy to wash and dry in the dryer. I'm a trainer and I do everything in these. They are great in the heat and don't weigh me down. I love the fit and have no problems w/ durability. They are my favorites over other brands because they are the most comfortable, and they look good on too!

SO comfortable!!!
I am 5'2'' with a long torso and legs, and it is hard for me to find pants that fit me properly. But these are THE MOST COMRFORTABLE PANTS I have EVER worn!! They are BEAUTIFULY made, and are SO comfortable I feel like I am not even wearing any! I am a very frugal shopper so I searched around for who had the best price, and SmartPak was cheaper from everyone else by $7.00. Now $7.00 may not be a lot to some of you, but for someone like me who lives paycheck to paycheck, $7.00 is worth saving. All in all these are the best pants ever and SmartPak has the best price around, so why bother looking else where?

Flattering cut, great price, but they run big!
I ordered two pairs of these to try to get the sizing correct as the nearest tack store is two hours away, so it's not convenient to go try them on. I wear a 32 in the Supreme Hunter regular rise so I figured I'd be safe ordering a 32 and a 34 since the rise is lower on these. Both pairs were too big, I had to return them and will be getting a size 30. Other than that, I love the cut and the newer fabric which is less cotton than the original ones, so they should hopefully hold up to washing and wear a bit better.

Tailored Sportsmans
Received the TS trophy hunters & immediately noticed they're cut differently than the supremes. the 'lower level' fabric isn't bad, more clingy though. Certainly lighter weight which is nice in the higher temps. Good height for the waistband, liked that it was a wide waistband. much more comfortable. All in all a nice breech.

Stylish, but poor quality
I was very excited to get these breeches as I had ordered the euro seat in size zip tan. They are a very flattering cut and fit, BUT...
as a reviewer noted before, they do not wick away sweat, unfortunate to find this out in over 100 degree heat, also unfortunate is the fact that they pick up stains EASILY particularly when wet!
I spend about 1/2 an hour in the laundry room with stain spray scrubbing at the stains; the clarino patches do not let the stains out at all. The fabric hasn't held the color very well either, they look somewhat faded, which with as much work as I put in to clean them; you can imagine is hard because I don't wear them often!
As mentioned before the fabric stretches as you wear it, so they sag and I have to wear a belt to keep them up, add to that that they sag in the seat and crotch and catch on the pommel as I post so I am constantly having to stop and pull them up!
I will mention that several other people I know that have tailored sportsman breeches complain that they DO NOT hold up well; I have seen the holes at the seams and fading in their breeches. Very disapointing for a breech that is almost $150.
I might try the professional version with hopes that they built them better for daily use.

I love these Breeches
My trainer has these breeches and and I had to have them. They are slimming and run true to size unlike the Ariat's. This is my first pair of Tailored Sportsman breeches and I don't think I will ever buy another brand again. They are comfortable and have a lot of stretch and I love the look of the full seat and the wide low rise waist. You will love these!

Buy them tight & don't plan to sweat
PROS:
- nice styling - TS doesn't disappoint here. Details such as seaming are flawless, seams don't rub, hard buttons are covered, edges finished nicely.
- holds up in the wash - doesn't lose shape (though stretches from wearing), low maintenance
CONS:
- cotton fabric is SO abosorbent and does NOT wick away sweat. Everytime I wear these and it's 78+ degrees, I literally have gross sweat marks everywhere I've touched the saddle. Even worse, when it dries on the tan breeches, there is a faint yellowing stain. Sorry if that is TMI, but I was shocked. I'm not generally a profuse sweater, and none of my other breeches do this - perhaps b/c I gravitate towards synthetics for their wicking/drying abilities (like brands with Coolmax). I'm also a runner so I'm spoiled by technical fabrics. These TS breeches were a huge disappointment in this area. I'll save them for my cool-weather riding.
- they stretch. If you're not careful, you can quickly end sporting the saggy diaper bum look. As they stretch, the waistband also rides down to the point where I can't post without the crotch of the breeches hitting the pommel - argh. I wear a belt but unless it's super tight, gravity wins out (maybe I need suspenders...) In TS' defense, I did buy mine slightly "relaxed" because the next size down was basically skin tight. I should have bought that size, however.
I recommend sizing down if you're unsure of your size.

Excellent School or Show Breech
Comfortable waist band. Side zip/hooks eliminate the pinch of the front hooks when you bend forward in the saddle that you get on the front zip style of this same breech. The fabric sewn in "full seat" feel gives you a nice grip in the saddle without the stick of a leather full seat. Breathable for warm weather riding. Has just the right amount of give and stretch so they dont get "sloppy" after you ride.

Love these
I love the way these breeches fit. The cut is much more comfortable than the regular TS breeches. Love the wide waistband and lower rise, and the fact that they don't have a calf seam (which can be tight sometimes) or over the knee seam (which can rub). I school and show in these.

Gorgeous and so nice for the $$$
I am a sucker for a nice pair of breeches, and these definitely fit the bill! They look gorgeous - the camel-colored knee patches are clarino but they look as nice as the goatskin on the real thing - but best of all, they are SO easy-care. In fact, I often get TWO rides out of them between washings (and cheaper breeches don't stay clean that long). They are nice enough for local or schooling shows and clinics, and the fit is flattering so you're not embarrassed when you have to stop by the grocery store on your way home. I bought the same size as my four-way stretch Tailoreds, but I could have gone a size down for sure. Overall, great breeches, great fit, great look!

The newest fad on the A circuit also happens to look great, super comfortable and stylish. The low rise is lower then any other TS low rise britches I've worn. Look good enough to show in, definitely comfortable enough.

I love these
I'm a loyal Tailored Sportsman wearer & these are the best. I wear Royal Hunter Low Rise for show, but these are extremely comfortable & durable. They're a lower rise than the RHs, and a stretchier fabric. The Euro seam on the seat is quite subtle. My trainer won't let me wear them for rated shows, but I'll buy them for schooling & local shows for sure. The green-beige is excellent - doen't show any dirt.
