These are by far my favorite breeches
I have way too many of these. And I think I need more. They fit better than anything else I've tried, stay remarkably clean, and are so comfortable. I wear a 28L (5'7", size 4-6 street clothes) and they fit true to size. There are so many lovely colors, I can't stop myself. I tend to wear them 2-4 times between washings, depending on how dirty they get; I have some pairs I've had for 3 years and they are still going strong. I've tried other brands, trying to save some money, but ultimately I realized I don't wear those less expensive ones. So I might as well get the breeches I KNOW I'll wear in a color I can't live without. I know they don't fit everyone, and I can only wear the side zip because the front zip pinches, but go ahead and try them. If they fit, you'll love them.

These fit like a glove! I have long legs so I ordered my size in 'long' and they were perfect! I'm 5'8 and about 115 lb so a 26L fit me perfectly. Will definitely be buying more!

Favorite Pants
These are my go to riding breeches for schooling and shows! They're comfortable, wash well, and are very durable. I prefer the side zip for a tradional look and think they flatter my short frame well.

All Time Favorite Breeches! Must Have!
I've owned many TS breeches before. I had only ever tried the front-zip until recently. I decided to get myself a pair and try the side-zip feature. I ended up LOVING the side zip! Its so comfortable in and out of the saddle. Perfect rise too (coming from a tall person this is very rare for me to say) Not to low-cut or too high-rise. Just perfect. These are the Goldilocks of breeches! I don't think I can go back to front-zip after my incredible experience with these breeches. I have french blue. Extremely flattering and incredible quality. Look amazing in and out of the show ring!

They won me over
Long review alert! Short story: These breeches are fantastic.
Long story: I'm sort of hard to fit in terms of inseam, everything always seems to be just a liiiiittle too short so I always feel a bit uncomfortable when in the - saddle which is the worst. I mostly wear full seat so maybe that's half the problem? In any event, I've been exclusively wearing Pikeur and Cavallino Marino because they actually fit but that's a pricey habit. I tried these and I'm totally sold. They aren't as substantial as the Pikeurs but I'm actually pretty happy that they seem like they'll be lighter in the heat. The long fits my long legs perfectly (maybe just a hint shorter than I'd like) and the waist is true to size. In and out of the saddle, they're a dream. If you have some wobbly bits that you don't totally want to show dimpling, I wouldn't go for a lighter color but you should be good in the darker hues. Love love love. The Smokin Hot color was my first pick (a pretty bluey grey) and I'm spluring on a few more. Excellent find, wish I tried them sooner!

Only Breech Worth Buying
If you can't decide between tailoreds and another brand go for the TS. They are hardy, fit most body types, and look gorgeous in the ring. I have some charcoal that have been worn at least 150 times and they look like new.

Nice Quality Material
These breeches are nice quality but as is the case with most breeches we have purchased (except Kerrits) the length is good but the waist is way to big. Had to return them. For the price I'd expected them to be a little more tailored.

The Best Fit
I resisted buying TS for a long time because of the price and because I generally find velcro ankles really uncomfortable. I finally tried a pair and now I will not buy anything else. They fit my pear shape perfectly, are super comfortable, and very flattering. The velcro doesn't bother me at all. I'm 5'8 and sometimes have to buy Long breeches, but the Regulars work nicely. They are not as cool as my coolmax breeches, but they are breathable enough to get by in coastal NC humidity, yet not so thin that you see any lumps/bumps etc. They wash great too.

Amazing Breeches!
I bought myself a pair of these for Christmas in the color blue blood and a few weeks later another pair used in black and I LOVE them. They're so comfortable and I always get compliments on them when I wear them. They are pricey but totally worth the extra cash. They look super professional and sleek.

Only breeches I wear
I own about eight pair of Trophy Hunter Low Rise Breeches, and learned the hard way that you get what you pay for. I love the fit- I'm an older woman and the low rise surely isn't too low. I buy the long length even though I'm only 5'6". I still have my first pair and they have been through the washer dozens of times. The color doesn't fade and the fabric shows no sign of wear, and I wear them six days a week. I just purchased the blue/black color. Seems like it's really just navy blue.

Love these breeches!
I absolutely love these breeches! They fit perfectly and look great for shows. I ordered a pair back in 2012 from SmartPak and never ended up using them. Just a few weeks ago, I called SmartPak and asked if I could exchange them for a different size 3 years later and they did! SmartPak has wonderful customer service!!

Best Breeches Available!

Sending these back
I bought these for my daughter, who couldn't wait to have her first pair of Tailored Sportsmans, but these just don't fit well on everyone. She's tall, small waist and wider hip/thigh, so either the waist was too small with 28L or there was some funky, unflattering gaping with the 30L. Perhaps if there were a size 29L, we'd have stuck with TS - but Ariat Prix fit her much better in our local store so we'll try a couple of other brands to get a great fit, and sadly give up the fun color choices with TS!
