I've always worn Tailored Sportsman Breeches but just recently purchased the Trophy Hunter style. I have to say I like these better than all! Great fit, fabric, and durability.

The best breeches out there!
I’ve bought TS breeches for the past 20 years and I still get excited when a brand new pair comes in the mail! I’ve tried several different brands of breeches, and these by far fit me the best. Extremely comfortable, beautiful colors, I have no complaints!

Maybe the only person these are unflattering on
I have tried these on so many times in all cuts and sizes hoping that one day they'll work for me, but they are sadly all the most unflattering breeches I have ever tried. The waist and legs fit fine but the crotch area is embarrassing. I think this is partially due to the fabric actually not being very thick. Both the mid and low rise fit the same so I hesitate to blame the cut. I don't have this issue with much more affordable breeches with what I'm assuming is cheaper fabric. I do LOVE the look of them though and wish I were able to find a pair of breeches this color and style that actually fits me.

Still the best
Ive tried other breeches but there’s really no substitute for the fit and quality of tailored sportsman. Worth the money for how long they last. I find the side zip more comfortable than front especially if you’re curvy.

Only breeches that fit me perfectly!
I love my TS! I personally prefer the midrise side zip, as I find it sits a centimeter or so higher than the front zip, which I prefer. I don’t own any other breeches that fit me as well as the TS. It’s a shame they are so expensive! I am 5’6, 140lbs and wear a 30R in TS and a 8 in jeans. If you choose low rise, I’d size up. I wear a 32R in the low rise.
One downfall is they do stain very easily from the saddle. Only 10 or so rides in an the light colors will start to darken around the booty. But pick a dark color and you won’t have that problem. For everyday riding TS are a bit pricey, but well worth it for shows and clinics! They are the only breech that fit me right!

My go to breeches
I have tried the Pipers and Hadleys but my all time favorites for fit and longevity are TS trophy hunters without a doubt. Nothing even comes close. You really do get what you pay for here. I have a few pairs that are 6 years old and just now ready to retire only because they feel thin. I have both front zip and the side zips which are higher rise so I am preferring them now.

First time I've had to return a pair of TS breechs
Embarrassingly, I own about 8 pair of these breeches in both front zip and the mid rise side zip. The color was great on these, taupe with black knee patches but the fit was totally strange and not at all like my other pairs. The legs were wider and the crotch depth shorter and they just looked bad on. I have never ever sent back a pair of Tailored so this is very strange. The cut was way off and it makes me wonder if they have changed something. I hope not! These are my favorite breeches that I compare all other brands too.

Best breeches ever!!
I have a tan show pair and got a holy smoke pair for Christmas- love them! Absolutely my favorite breeches ever and so worth the price. They fit great and are just the right mix of stretchy and sturdy. I am writing this review because recently I had a bad fall while schooling before a show. Hit my leg pretty bad on the fence and I couldn't move it. They had to cut my breeches of at the hospital which was honestly to worst part. My leg was scratched and bruised pretty bad, however looking at the breeches you couldn't tell that anything was wrong! Other than some sand, the breeches were completely fine which is a testimony to what great quality they are! If they had ripped, my leg would have been a lot worse. Just ordered a new pair to replace the ones that were cut. Thank you TS!

Fantastic Breeches!
Tailored Sportsmans are always great! They fit well, don't gap in the back, hold up to LOTS of use, and are made in the USA. I love the traditional styling of the mid-rise side zips, as well as the fun colors! I've tried on other brands periodically but nothing compared to the fit and quality of the TS breeches. Highly recommended and worth every penny.

Love the fit!

Only breeches I wear
I used to wear this style in tan for shows only. but I love them so much I saved up to get them in blue and grey for schooling too. Super functional, comfortable, flattering and durable. Worth my hard earned money!

Beautiful color- comfortable fit
I normally only buy full leather seat FITS but have gotten tired of same old colors (still totally love the comfort of the breeches though). I thought I'd try something different for the summer, and I am enjoying both the pretty color and the fit of these. I really haven't missed the full seat yet. We will see how that goes. Certainly appreciate the lower price point of these knee patch breeches.

The TS Trophy Hunter is such a show apparel staple for today's equestrian. I like the classic look of these breeches, but I love that they are still available in a mid-rise! The only downside is the price... they are expensive, but well worth the money.

Great quality!
I bought 2 pairs in the 26 and they were a little baggy everywhere. I am nearly 5'5" and 127 lbs and usually wear a 25 ish, so I could go either way depending on the brand. I returned the 26 and got the 24 and the 24 fit perfectly! I squeezed them on, but after a couple wears they stretched out and fit like a glove! I've never had a butt, but I do have thighs. So far, these fit both my small butt and meaty thighs - very happy about that. The boysenberry color is subtle and not bright, which i like. I also got the french blue, which are the perfect color! Not too dark, not too light either.
The zip is also sturdy and deep and the velrco isn't bad! So far, no broken seams anywhere!

Best Breeches I Have Ever Found
Fit great. Super comfortable. First 4 pairs I wear weekly I purchased 2 years ago and still look like the day I bought them. Got tired of the same colors and just got three more pair. Not a single thing I would change on these guys.

Comfortable and Attractive
These breeches fit snuggly, but comfortably. They wear very well and keep looking good wash after wash. I don't sweat through the material like some of my other breeches. The mid-rise is perfect so my show shirt doesn't rise out in the back. I would buy these again.

Great fit; superb fabric
I now have 3 pair of this cut and I plan to get more (great colours). The midrise gives a nice coverage in the saddle and doesn't swallow you up. I have both the side zip and front zip. I have tried more upscale brands and I don't find them to be as good as TS.

Love these britches!
Beautiful britches and they are extremely comfortable to ride in! Easier to maintain with the slightly higher waist, do not have show shirts slipping out as much as the low rise do. A HUGE thank you to SmartPak customer service- my original order got lost along the way and they shipped a new one right out and had everything squared away. Thank you, SmartPak!!

Nice Fit
It took me a while to make up my mind to buy these breeches in gray, but I'm very happy with the purchase. Mid-rise is not too low and not "mom-jeans" high. Fabric is a nice weight. I wear regular Tailored Sportsman TS breeches almost exclusively, and was concerned that the euro-seat seaming would rub, but they don't. I also like the side zip as it doesn't "enhance" my tummy bulge. Pricey, but a quality product.
