Instructions for Use:
Do not apply directly over cuts, wounds, or irritated skin, apply only to areas around the cut, wound, or irritation. Use daily. Do not use on animals under 12 weeks. Consult a veterinarian before using this product on debilitated, aged, pregnant, nursing, or medicated animals. Sensitivities may occur after using ANY pesticide product for pets. If signs of sensitivity occur, bathe pet with mild soap and rinse with large amounts of water. If signs continue, consult a veterinarian immediately. Do not apply near eyes and mouth. Apply sparingly around ears. Wash hands with soap and water promptly after use.

Best Bug Off!
I've used Swat for so many years I cannot remember. It used to be in Pink formula only.
I love the clear .
It will stay on, keeps bugs off the face - ears -
heels -and under the belly. I never had any skin rash or eye irritations from Swat.
Some of the sprays will cause skin flaking.

I purchased Swat to use on my horse's ventral midline to help combat dermatitis from the culcoide insect. It helps a great deal with helping to heal the area plus it helps to repel the insects

All horse owners should have SWAT with them at all times. Keeps flies out of ears and off of small cuts. Best price I have found is with Smartpak and the shipping time is awesome!

Love this product!!
My horse cannot survive through the summer without Swat. The bugs are relentless on his ears and this product takes care of the bugs and keeps his ears nice and scab-free. I put it on a couple times per week and he's good to go. And one jar will last me at least two summers!

Great for delicate areas!
I love using this around the eyes and sheath on our horses, it is also great to put on the the middle of the belly where those pesky flies go that your horses tail cannot raech.

Keeps the bugs away AND LASTS all day
I use this during fly season to protect my horse's sensitve areas. It works great and lasts so much longer than fly spray. The only drawback is that is is a cream, but I wear a glove to apply it.

Works, but...
SWAT worked ok, but it left a flim that was hard to wash off. I prefer Tri-Care, it does the same thing as swat, but is also an antibiotic ointment.

I have used SWAT for over 10 years now and it always seems to do a great job. My older horse gets fly bites every summer and applying SWAT manages it so they don't get to bad. It's also nice to be able to apply once and have it stay on in case I forget or can't get out to use it every day. It also seems to work well around the ears where some horses don't appreciate a spray bottle.

Swat makes my top 10 list of best equine products. It stays on my horses and really works to control face flies and those annoying gnats and large flies that bite around the sheath area.

Pryor developed sweet itch last year and with the exception of steroid shots (which I'm not inclined to give regularly), SWAT has become a daily requirement -- rubbed onto his belly, dock of tail and crest of mane.
Although the "original" (pink salve) seems to adhere and not rub off or melt like the clear version, I prefer the clear stuff (nothing worse than trying to wash off neon pink goo from a breast collar or fleece cinch).
SWAT Clear effectively keeps the no-see-ums at bay and the sores and scabs are minimized.
Pryor isn't particularly fond of having it smeared all over his belly, but the alternative is not an alternative so he endures my slathering it on his underside.

Very Impressed
I was quite impressed by this product. I used it around a deep wound on one of our mare's legs once the stitches came out and we were told to leave the bandages off. True to the product claims, it kept the bugs away from the area and it was gentle enough that it didn't irritate the skin around the wound site. Another good product to keep in the emergency kit.

I LOVE SWAT!!!
Swat is my favorite thing in the summer. My boy gets bitten horribly around his sheath no matter what I do, and this helps those nasty bites heal and also keeps the flies at bay. I really really love SWAT and will always have a container in my cubbby!

Great For Sweet Itch
This product is fantastic for sweet itch and other irritations caused by biting flies. I used Swat to repel flies and Calendula cream to heal the prior bits and in combination, these two products completely healed a severe problem that had lasted several months.

Great for keeping those nasty little bugs away
I have been using SWAT for years. It is the only thing that seems to work on those little gnats. I use it on my horses ears, sheath and chest area. I highly recommend this product as not only an ointment for wounds, but for every day insect control.

Biting Bug Solution
I have been using SWAT since it was that nasty gucky pink color, and it still works like a charm -- a thin layer on your horse's sheath or udder keeps bugs away without causing any skin irritation, even on a thin-skinned TB who's allergic to everything! Especially good if you've actually read the warnings on your fly spray bottles about skin contact and mucous membranes, etc. I couldn't face summer without this product!

The best stuff there is!
I have a horse named Dolly who has trouble keeping flies away because she is so old. This stuff will stay on for as long as you like. Keeps flies and everything away. No more bloody tails, legs or ears!
