Instructions for Use:
Best when applied to freshly shampooed or groomed horse. Liberally spray onto horse, then comb or brush through coats, manes and tails. Wipe onto face, around eyes and other sensitive areas with hands, a soft brush or a non-absorbent cloth. Cover the entire horse completely for maximum protection. When spraying protect horse's eyes and mucous membranes. Should not be reapplied if horse is exposed to prolonged periods of rain, worked into a heavy sweat or lather, and after shampooing.

I bought the a few weeks ago and I’m extremely pleased with it! I spray this on my mare everyday and I’ve noticed a big change in the condition of her coat. She’s sooo soft now! And the shine on her is incredible! Unfortunately she was already quite sunbleached before I started using this so I’m not sure how well it will keep the coat from being bleached out. It’s definitely keeping my mare coat soft and condition though!

Works like I need it to!
I used it years ago on a palomino that faded very easily, and it worked well on her. It also smells GREAT! I recently purchased it again, for a sorrel mare who was getting sun faded even though she only went out at night, until about 11am. So just a few hours, and her coat was starting to get sunbleached. This has helped stop that, and it still smells great!

I haven’t used this product long enough to determine if the spf works to keep my black horse’s coat from bleaching in the summer but it smells great and it seems to condition the coat.

Smells good- might work?
I have not been using this long enough to know how effective it is. But I know that in less than a week I had used 3/4 of the bottle! Coverage of a full size horse take a lot and you are supposed to do it daily.... I wish they would offer it in gallon sizes.

Good stuff
This works really well, My black mare who had faded out from pasture board was darkening up after only a week! Only criticism is that it doesn't go very far on a big horse. Glad I bought two!

Great Product!
This spray smells great when applied. Seemed to help prevent sun burn on my horses white spots. Unfortunately, I bought this product after she had a bit of a sunburn but a few days after application, it seemed to heal quickly. I also use this in their mane and tail, it conditions well too

Great product!
I purchased for my two horses with white blazes that were getting sun butned in the AZ sun to use instead of zinc cream. Easy to apply and I saw a difference within a couple of days. The pink burned skin returned to a normal color and the sensivity was gone. I highly recommend this product.

Smells so good!!:)
Bought this for my seal bat who always lightens up in the summer especially when it's too hot to put his fly sheet on. Wish I would of ordered in the begging of summer so I could of sprayed him before he got all light and not his really pretty color. But it's never too late to try and bring his color back. It also smells real good!!:)

Bottle gets plugged;
I can't really tell if this is effective because the bottle is either plugged or the product comes out in a stream and makes and large wet mark on my horse.

Amazing Product !!

My favorite brand new grooming winter aid
My horse gets terrible static electricity when I groom her all year round. I have tried everything. Then I found Sunflower Suncoat SPF works great to keep the static gone while grooming!

Great product!
I have been using this product for over two years now after my Paint suffered a severe sunburn. No problems since and it also helps keep her black areas from fading. She is out in the sun all day so this provides the much needed protection. Smells nice too!

Seems to do the trick
I started using this Suncoat spray about a month ago. I have a bay and white paint who easily burns in areas of her white fur (pink skin) and fades her bay color to a chestnut appearance in the South Carolina sun. Before using this I had to keep her inside during the day. Since using this she has been out each day with UV ratings of 10-12 and shows no signs of sunburn or coat fading. Some reviews have said the spray bottle stopped working, but I have had no issues with mine.

Great product!
I heard great things about this product from a friend that had a black gelding his coat was always super black and shiny never sun bleached so I asked her how she kept his coat so nice she told me about suncoat so I had to try it on my weanling Tobi colt who was getting sunburnt skin and a dulling to his dark spots. It's a little late in the year for me to say how it has protected him from sun bleaching but daily use of this product has prevent him from getting sun burnt on the white spots on his withers and tail head

Didn't Really Work
Didn't have much success with this product. My gelding is a smokey buckskin, and he was getting pretty badly sunbleached being turned out all day this summer. I started applying it daily before turnout, spraying it on pretty heavily. I love the scent, and the bottle lasted me a little over two months. But I didn't see any difference in his coat, even after using it daily. I was hoping for it to help bring back his luster, but he's only just now turning back to his normal color as he changes to his fall coat.

Prevents coat fade and sunburns on pink skin
Really lightweight. Works great. Not really going to prevent sunburn on its own here in radiation heaven Florida. Does however condition lightly and prevents coat fade on darker colored costs and manes. Smells amazing. I use this under my fly sheets for pink skinned horses. Prevents them from burning as bad.

Sunflower Suncoat SPF is INCREDIBLE!! My geldings black mane, tail and forelock were burnt so badly last year that his hair stopped growing. His hair was literally brown and dead. When I found SS I gave it a try and man am I so glad I did! SS has restored his hairs health and his mane, tail and forelock are black again, they've also started to grow --very rapidly!! His tail now touches the ground and his mane is passing his shoulder!!! I just ordered 3 more bottles for this Summer ^^ I will use Sunflower Suncoat for the rest of my geldings life =D

Smells nice and nice idea but....
Used this product at the start of spring on my black mare who needed to go out during the day due to dusk biting insect allergies. Within several days of using as directed prior to turn out she had bleached spritz marks all over her. Im not sure why this happened since its exactly what is not supposed to happen. Seems like it has great reviews but wanted anyone to know what happened with mine.
