my horse looovessss these
I wanted a healthy treat I could use for training my horse - one that I could feed him a lot of in a training session and not worry about it causing problems. He LOVES these, never gets tired of working hard to get one. It does make it him pretty thirsty by the end of our session, probably because they are essentially dehydrated grass, so I'd worry about feeding more than a small amount to a horse prone to colic. But him horse isn't and is doing great.

There were just dust in the bag
Very disappointed it's just dust in a bag that looks like crumbled alfalfa cubes still tried to feed it to the horses they don't seem to like them very much. I would not buy them again

Healthy treats
I bought these treats because I didn't have enough money to get the fancy ones. I am so happy I did! My quarter horse loves these treats, and are now the only treat I will feed her. I love that I never have to worry about feeding too many, because of the simple and healthy ingredients!

Horse loves your treats
I was given a bag of these treats as a gift for my horse and he loved them. So when I saw them again on the Smart Pak website I had to get him some more. Great product I always share his treats with the other horses at our stable and everyone loves them. They hear the bag opening and instantly I'm everyone's favorite person

My horse likes them, but
I was excited about having a treat that was forage based, and had few ingredients, that he would enjoy. My horse does love them, however, I did notice some drawbacks. They basically are smaller alfalfa cubes with cranberry/apple pieces (which you can't actually see, but they smell good!)

Overpriced Alfalfa Cubes
My horses liked this treat okay, but they weren't crazy about it. All they are basically are overpriced, mini alfalfa cubes. I should have just bought a 50 pound bag of alfalfa cubes at the feed store for $15. I had a lot of loose hay at the bottom of the bag too when all of the treats were used up. I will say they smell heavenly and most of my horses would eat them, but I won't buy them again.

Horses like them but...
These are less like a cookie and remind me a lot of a hay cube. They are very dry and cause my horse to cough after he eats a couple. He also doesn't LOVE them... He'll leave them in his bucket and won't eat them up right away.

So good and essentially colic proof!
I bought 2 5lb pound bags. My mate loves them. Easily her favorite treat. Her next-door neighbor and boyfriend broke out of his stall and helped himself to 10 pounds of treats from my locker and did not colic since they're mainly compressed hay. Can't recommend them highly enough and the price is reasonable too!

Good treat!
This is a great treat! It's a bit hard for the horse to chew quickly so it's not great for an instant reward, but it's very safe and my horses like them a lot. I load my treat ball with them because they are basically just a hay cube with some flavoring so my horses can eat lots of them, and I don't have to worry. It's a good low cost treat. I also like that they are easy to break up.
