Alfalfa forage bites banana flavored treats
Grain free I love. Hoping they are low nsc but not positive.? My My mare gave the banana flavored treat a sniff test the first time she saw it in my hand but quickly ate it so she must have liked the smell.. From then on each day she gladly accepted it quickly. Each day if she saw the little bag or the treat in my hand she was eager to eat it. Would like to try the other flavors with her too!

Horses love them
I really like the new treats. They’re easier for horses to chew than the last samples and they smell so good the horses absolutely love them. I can’t have them in any pockets unless I’m willing to give them up because they will find them. The only thing I noticed was there was a lot of fine crumbs left after the pieces were gone. We fed it over their feed rations and they of course loved it. I would love to see not artificial flavorings if possible too.

My equines love them!
All of my horses and donkeys loves these treats! Even my older gentleman with flat teeth is able to eat them. They smell fresh and I appreciate the fact that they’re grain free. Looking forward to seeing these goodies in the feed stores.

My hard to please horses loved them!
I got these a few days ago and decided they needed to be checked out by a friends picky horses! Even Zelda, who doesn’t like anything wanted MORE! The three pasture horses were wanting to gang up on me-they didn’t! This is the first treat ever that I have given to my 3 horses AND 2 miniature donkeys and miniature horse! No complaints here - AT ALL!! A+++ Standleedoes it again! Highest praise!
I’ve used Standlee Alfalfa pellets, Timothy Pellets for 4+ years, first time with these treats!

Great treats!
Good treats! The star anise flavor smells wonderful and I love that they are forage based! They are a good size for large horses, but a little bigger than I would like for minis and kind of hard to break. They are a good size for little ones to feed the horses. Overall though all my horses liked them and even the goat was interested! I would definitely get this flavor again.

Delicious snack
I received a free sample of the Standlee Alfalfa Forage Bites, star anise flavored.
When I opened the package there was a nice but not overpowering anise smell. Both my horses took the treats without hesitation and were begging for more.
The size of these treats is perfect, not too big, not too small, and just the right diameter, too. There were no crumbs in the bag and the treats held their shape nicely. They are crunchy, not too dry, and require a little bit of chewing.

My main review is in the very berry section, which they love, but the anise is what I use on a daily basis as a mush booster to get their mineral pellets down. Works perfectly!

Multiple uses for this fine product
I received a sample bag of the very berry flavor. My horses loved them. I love the fact that that they are low sugar/starch and have alfalfa as an ingredient. I had also purchased the anise flavor for a horse that would not eat his mineral balancer pellets. I soaked them in water until entirely mushy, then added a few spoonfuls and mixed in. He now gobbles his minerals and licks the pail clean! I'd like the price lower for this size bag, but otherwise GREAT product!

Got this sample by surprise- thank you Standlee!! I personally am not a fan of star anise- but apparently my horse is! Lol. And since he's the one eating them (and I only have to smell them) it looks like these may be added to the rotation. (To be fair, we hadn't tried any of the other forage bites; these were a sample provided by standlee and I did not put the horses thru a blind taste test...! Lol)

Nice sized treat that my horses loved
I wasn’t sure how my horses would like the larger sized alfalfa forage bites as they were firmer than the normal treats I feed. They loved them! They do hold them in their mouths a little bit to soften them up especially my older horse. I’ll definitely consider these again as I prefer foraged based treats! I gave it 4 stars because they are firm so might be little harder for older horses.

I liked trying the sample treats before buying a larger bag. When the sample ran out and I returned to what I had on hand, my horse paused and looked at me. I think she was disappointed that I didn't have more of the Standlee samples!

Healthy & tasty treat!
My miniature horses LOVE the Alfalfa Forage Bites from Standlee. They're a treat that's more exciting than plain alfalfa pellets, but are still healthy and low in sugar. The bites are easily broken into smaller pieces, which is important for smaller equines. I will definitely keep a package of these treats handy!

Very Berry Sample
Sent the Very Berry sample in the mail. I have 6 horses and all of them loved the treats, looking for more. I like that these are low in sugar and startch as some of my horses are dealing with EMS and PPID. They are easy to take along in a treat pouch.

Not usually a treat person…
I don’t hand feed my horses for obvious reasons, but I do like these for “carrot stretches” to keep my horses flexible. I have an insulin-resistant horse, and I must be very careful with his feeding program. These treats are tasty without all the sugar. They are also picky-horse approved and goat approved!

Impeccable Treat!
I was sent a free sample of the Standlee Banana flavored alfalfa forage bites. All of my horses LOVED them! Even my picky mare who rarely likes any type of treats. They all begged for more. The ingredients are great, as is the size of the treat.
