Very nice for the price
This is quite a nice whip, especially for the price. The cover on the shaft is very nicely woven. I was impressed by that. The handle is nice, although it didn’t matter if it was gel or not. The feel and the weight are nice, and it’s not overly stiff, or overly flexible. I’ve wanted to try a Snowbee, so am glad I was able to try this. Purchased for a student who is moving up, and it’s time for a nicer whip. She could show with this for sure. My only complaint is that the ‘tassle’ is woven into the whip, and I prefer the ones that can be attached, or replaced. Not a deal breaker, as it’s harder to find those type of whips.

My favorite whip!
I have two of these now, one for the barn and one for my trailer. Even with several others in my whip holder to choose from, this is the one I grab every time! The size and grip is perfect for me. I've been recommending this whip to others.

What a surprise.
I ordered this whip because of the great reviews but really didn't expect much for such an economical price. I was pleasantly surprised by its quality construction and flexibility. Some of the reviews talk about stickiness in the handle, but I have not experienced that even in the Texas heat.

Nice whip
I usually don't like to carry a whip. Due to arthritis, most handles are hard to hold, not with Snowbee's gel handle - nice and grippy.

Well balanced, attractive and easy to hold. Have been using mine for very long trail rides to keep the horse and deer flies off my horse's face, neck, ears, shoulders, rump, etc., and to move briers out of our way. Have not dropped the whip once thanks to the comfy gel handle.

Great price
I bought this due to the price and the length. I needed a whip to keep my donkey away from me at feeding time, or he crowds me. I have a riding crop, and its too short, and my lunge whip is too long. I put a plastic bag on the end of it, and my donkey stays out of my personal space. This dressage whip is the perfect length and easy to handle.

Great Dressage Whip
This is a great dressage whip! I like it better than some of the $50 dressage whips I've tried. It seems durable enough for everyday use and it looks nice enough to use at shows. My favorite part about this whip is the gel handle. It is so comfortable and it makes it easier to grip the whip. I got the 47" which is perfect for my horse because he is very big and long (16.1hh, 1100lbs). If he was any smaller though it would be too long. Overall, this is a great dressage and I highly recommend it!

Great whip for the price
I purchased this from the on line catalog to replace a bit more expensive gel handled whip that broke. I like the gel grip very much. I am in my late 50s and have some arthritis. I'm an adult ami and I think maybe I fumble the gel grips less. At least I like to tell myself that. This whip is attractive, more so than others I have owned. If it holds up to work I will order another for back up. I need to add that I have never used an expensive whip to compare it too. I'm not the level of rider where that will make any difference. I'm very pleased with this purchase. Thanks SmartPak!

This whip does stay in my hand
I use this whip when I go into the field - for fear that I may drop my whip by losing the grip. The handle is very grippy, but if I need to switch the side too often, or if i want to change the location of my hand (shorten or lengthen), it can be a bit tricky, as things do not slide very well with this grip!

Great grippy handle!
This product definitely delivers on what it promises - a comfortable, gel handle that also seems to have a little extra grip, making it easy to hold onto. The handle is just wide enough to be able to handle with double reins without being too thin.
