The all-in-one design makes it easy to support your horse’s legs after working hard, for injury prevention or recovery, and during shipping. The removable, washable liners are made of ThermoBalance® fabric and attach to the sturdy outer shell with hook and loop strips. Fantastic Therapeutic Properties!
My "golden oldie" gelding has been prone to challenges with his joints and hocks, which is the most prevalent in his hind legs. For a while, I have been interested in giving ceramic therapy a try and decided to go with the SmartTherapy Wraps.
I have been astounded by the therapeutic ability of the wraps. The first day we tried them on my gelding, we noticed a tremendous difference in his hind legs! He is much more comfortable and noticeably less stiff after I use the wraps. I am even pleased to report that he seemed to be happy with the treatments and I am looking forward to using other SmartTherapy products for him in the future!

They work, but barely wrap around my horses legs.
So I have had these for about a week now. Have used them everyday. They have been working great for increased comfort in my Qh mare.
However she is not big or stocky and they barely go around the circumference of her leg. There is normally a gap where it velcros.

Too small
I measured like the instructions say & They fit the length of my horses leg but not the width. When I attempted to Velcro them shut the material doesn’t meet, It’s just a gap. I ordered the 14” And these are for the front legs. I should of ordered a size up or 2. Kind of bummed because I’ve never sent anything back to smartpak.

Read instructions first
Well made boot, however I read the the information about the cooling aspect of the boot and was excited to get them, as my horse had a bow tendon That was swollen and needed a cooling wrap.
I did not read the instructions, which notes your horse need to
be Monitored when first used and can be on only 1 to 3 hours.
I used the once for 6 hours and couldn’t use them again, as the wrap caused sweating. No cooling.

Disappointed
I had high hopes but sadly these did not meet my expectations. The first pair that was sent to me was ripped right out of the box. I quickly received a second pair due to fantastic customer service. I used them twice, both times they slid down and were anklets after only a couple of hours of wear. The seems on the pillow wraps are splitting and I couldn't imagine them holding up for very long or for over night use.

Works!
I purchased these for my older warmblood gelding who stocks up standing in a stall at shows. These worked great! I’m going to purchase 2 more. I would say he was 75% less stocked up than I usually find him in the morning at shows.

Life saver!
I bought a gelding at auction 6 months ago. He is a young (coming 5) appendix gelding. After tracking down some of his history from the name on his coggins I found out that he had been sold 6 months prior due to not being able to keep him sound over fences. He was bounced around quite a bit and finally landed with me.
He is pigeon-toed and has off set cannon bones. He should never have been jumping in the first place. After several months off and a slow return to work with some easy trails he was sound enough to start working walk-trot. Within 2 rides he was lame again. After several discussions with my vet, as well as xrays we decided that it was a possibility that he would never be sound. I decided to give him a few more months off and start some new supplements as well as special shoes before making any decisions about euthanasia.
I contacted my fabulous SmartBarn rep Annina and discussed his situation. She recommended two supplements as well as these boots. I have been using the supplements for almost 2 months and have been using the boots as often as I can. He seemed sound and so again has slowly been brought back to work. He wears the boots for at least 2-3 hours before every ride and has stayed completely sound for over 2 weeks! I am cautiously optimistic for his future and believe that these boots have played a HUGE part in his improvements.

Great for post work out!
I actually won these in a contest and normally wouldn’t get “quick wraps” but these are great and have changed my mind! I’ve been throwing these on my young horse post work out, and he’s so fidgety I normally don’t bother wrapping him but just splash his legs down with liniment - but these go on quick and easy and seem to be holding up nicely, also really easy for the barn staff to take off or put on if needed!

Fantastic Product
These work JUST like the higher priced brands of ceramic therapy quick wrap boots. These boots are holding up better than the Back On Track boots. The swelling and wind puffs in his legs are improving. He is a year into a torn tendon injury. He wears these every night, he is moving better and is less stiff.

Made me a believer!
I have a mare who was diagnosed with DSLD and I have to admit that I was completely skeptical that these wraps would actually live up to the description. I researched lots of different ceramic therapy options before finally deciding to purchase the Smart Therapy quick wraps for my mare. I am so incredibly thankful that I decided to give these a try because I can say without a doubt the they have helped improve her comfort level, especially on these really cold days. She carries a lot of swelling through both hind legs, fetlocks and tendon sheaths, and after even an hour of use I can see a noticable difference in the swelling. You can immediately feel how warm her tendons are, which is something the vet believed would be beneficial for her comfort level. I know this isn't going to cure her DSLD but I can honestly say that they are helping. After a few hours of use she walks out better and looks the best she has in months. The wraps are bulky but she tolerates them just fine and we have worked her up to wearing them for several hours during turnout. I love these wraps and would definitely purchase again, I can't say enough good things about them, just ask everyone at my barn lol

Well designed and working good!
These are better designed than the Back son Track Quick Wraps and so far they are holding up better. In my experience the legs get more sweaty than they did with the Back on Track product. They have successfully been helping my horse who is recovering from tendon injuries.

Maybe I got a fluke? Velcro died early
I know other reviewers have had luck with the Velcro and fit but I have not.
I bought two pairs and have used them less than two weeks now. They worked well the first 10 days but the last several nights the Velcro around the fetlock keeps coming undone so my poor mare is left wearing really uncomfortable anklets. I have tried brushing/combing the Velcro before putting them on to see if that has effected the “stickiness,” as well as being super thorough to make sure the Velcro is all of way down and aligned and still no luck. I am pretty bummed partially because they were a little expensive but also because it is the first time I’ve truly had an issue with the integrity of a Smartpak brand item.
These wraps are also pretty heavy and I would caution using them with any warm weather.

Love the fit and effectiveness
My pony wears these in his turnout every night (he lives outside) and I was pleasantly surprised at how durable they are proving to be! He has been wearing them for almost 2 months now and the velcros are very strong and he hasn't been able to take them off. The ceramic fibers seem to be working well, too.
