Nice wool sheet
I loved the looks of these sheets. I’ve purchased the gray and green. The leather strap is cheap, but overall I’m really happy with my purchase. My horses love them too.

Great fit, perfect cooler.

Love the blanket - hate the fake leather
Love, love, love these wool blankets - I have several for all my horses. They make a great cooler and a nice light weight liner under a turnout blanket. BUT...I have to send them to my leather guy to replace the fake leather (plastic!!)front attachment with leather. That plastic cracks within just a couple of uses in the cold weather.

Beautiful!
This was a great gift for a good friend that had gone through a tough couple of years after loosing her horse and eventually got a new one. I wanted her new journey to start with love and in style! I have one of these myself and they are easy to wash, great for either clinics/showing or at home lessons/schooling to look extra polished :) To top it all off, a really nice customer service lady was able to intercept my order before it got embroidered, to change the name of the horse when the owner changed her mind!!

Looks very manly on my gelding, love the color (the black/grey one) on my grey horse. Also fits perfect but I did size up. For the price, I'm very happy with the quality! Would purchase this again.

Olive/Green plaid cooler
Like others have said, the green/olive color is much different than pictured. I purchased this cooler several years in navy and the quality of this cooler is significantly different. If you are looking for an attractive, lightweight cooler this will probably meet the mark. Otherwise, the attention to detail is lacking. The stitching on the spine is less than desirable. There were several loose threads that needed to be cut and I hope this does not damage the integrity of the cooler. The fit is awkward and boxy as someone else stated. Overall, I would say the quality and craftsmanship is mediocre at best. I also feel the need to mention, I selected the tan thread and it does not match the trim on this particular cooler – this is probably my fault and not Smartpak’s but I felt the need to let others know.

Amazing dress cooler- stylish and warm!
When I purchased my horse three years ago, this was on the barn’s must purchase list. It looks as good today as it did that first day! Several riders at my barn just use it for shows, but my horse is body clipped so I use it all the time. I like that it is wool because I have had fleece coolers in the past and they didn't stand up to a lot of use. I really like the black plaid it is a very rich looking color. The binding, piping, and hip ornament make it look like those expensive custom coolers- but this one is at a great price. The fit is great and the surcingle and tail cord plus front buckle add to the quality of this cooler. The SmartPak Wool Dress Sheet is priced much lower than those custom coolers, equal in quality, if not better!

Really Like This Wool Cooler!
Very pleased with this wool cooler. It is lightweight and pulls moisture off my horses after winter workouts really well. The plaid looks smart on my grey horse. The only negative is the leather piece for chest closure seems very cheap. Otherwise I am very pleased with function and look. This is exactly what I needed. Medium Horse size fits my 14.2-14.3 stout Missouri Foxtrotter very well.

Good value for attractive wool cooler
This cooler is wool and does its job well for a reasonable price. The front closure doesn’t feel like leather or of particularly high quality, but it works for the purpose. So far, no problems.

It’s ok
Very attractive looking, but the craftsmanship just isn’t there. Ordered the olive and it’s actually hunter green, which I like. But it’s not represented correctly in the ad. The tail cord/hip detail is very pretty. The leather and buckle at the front feel cheap. Lastly the stitching along the spine is just shoddy, see photo. If smartpak made sure the details were there it’d be a very nice dress sheet. I’m surprised bc smartpak usually has fair quality.

attractive dress sheet
I bought this for my horse in black plaid and so far it has been great. It's an attractive lightweight wool and was very soft out of the bag, not stiff like some wool coolers. It does run a bit big in the chest, so just beware of that for horses who are in between sizes (mine wears a 78), but other than that it fits my horse great and I would totaly recommend it to someone in search of an affordable dress sheet.

Very Pretty
I've been eyeing this sheet for a while and when it finally came out in green I decided to buy it. The green is gorgeous, though it is darker than the picture shows which was slightly disappointing. Still looks great on my liver chestnut. I got the large which is his normal size, and we have the smartpak fleece in that size which fits perfectly, though this wool sheet is definitely cut differently. I'm wishing I had sized down on this but it is embroidered, so I'll just keep it. The main issue is the neck opening is quite large so it slides back a bit on my narrower warmblood, which is not an issue I have with the fleece cooler at all. I imagine I'll be thankful for the extra room when I throw it on over tack at a show, though, so it isn't a deal breaker for me. It's overall a very pretty cooler and nice quality too, so I'm happy with my purchase.

Warm and elegant in appearance!
I recently bought a Dutch Warmblood 8 year old mare who has spent the last 5 years in Florida. Keeping her comfortable and warm in NY was a concern. This lovely wool dress sheet has alleviated those concerns and keeps her calm and comfortable while warming up and cooling down. Wonderful product!

Decent. Olive green not as pictured
Ordered two, color is more a hunter green not at all like the lighter green pictured but still a decent LIGHT wool cooler, if your expecting heavy custom wool quality you will be disappointed. But it’s decent quality and looks really nice like nicer than it feels when you touch it. If your looking for light and nice looking but don’t want to break the bank you will be happy with it

I guess I have been spoiled by custom wool coolers because back in the day it was the only option. Over all it is an okay wool sheet, it kept my horse (who was clipped) warm ring side on a cold rainy/ snowy winter day. the "leather" on the buckle literally fell off the second use and my horse was standing the entire time. so the buckle looks horrible and I will have it replaced. the fit isn't the best compared to SmartPak's other blankets.
it's not a thick wool so I wouldn't recommend it for a northern winter. It isn't made well so I wouldn't use it as a base layer, but that's not it's purpose.
Overall it's okay, it did it's job but don't expect a heavy nice wool sheet.

Must have wool sheet!
This wool dress sheet is a must have! I use this cooler often both at home and away. Since it is made of 100% wool it keeps your horse warm but is thin enough to let them cool down and dry off after a workout. This sheet has beautiful detailing with the trim and piping along with the ornate tail loop. It fit my horse true to his normal blanket size and looks like a custom dress sheet. It is a fantastic price for the quality and detail of the sheet.

Excellent dress sheet!
Just used this wool dress sheet at a show this weekend for the first time- so happy with it!
I used it after bathing and it kept my boy warm and wicked the water off incredibly well. Used it during the day to keep him warm and clean.

Gorgeous Cooler My Horse Looks Very Handsome
Extremely thrilled with this beautiful cooler. My horse wears an 86-87 blanket. The cooler fits perfectly. It would also fit a horse that wears an 84 blanket . It is very adjustable. Looks and feels like the custom coolers, but at an affordable price. I have received so many compliments. It will get a lot of use at home and at shows.
