Surcingles too short with strange clasps
The size 84 sheet has surcingles that are way too short. My horse is a 17 hand big bodied warm blood but she isn’t a Clydesdale and there was no way to attach those surcingles. I could not use a surcingle extender because the clasps are different from those on most blankets. And I could not return the sheet because I got it as a 2 for 1 on Black Friday.

Started Out Good, Ended Badly
This blanket started out good - it looked good, and the fabric is durable. That being said, the sizing is a bit weird, and on my narrow chested WB cross it wanted to slip back and rub his shoulders, even though it technically “fit.” The front of it has also disintegrated - the closures have threads sticking out and the velcro is gone. I wouldn’t buy again.

Ultimate Stable Sheet with COOLMAX Technology
I ordered an 81" for my 16.2 h draft cross gelding and it was too tight across the chest and the belly surcingles wouldn't reach around his girth. 81" is his normal blanket size and generally his blankets have a little room to spare. So I sized up to 84" and it is a very good fit! I still had to let the belly surcingles out almost all the way but the chest straps will buckle in the middle hole and all the contours fit his contours. It is nearly perfect! The fabric seems sturdy (for a stable sheet) but he has only worn it to check the size. When the evenings warm up (in the middle of winter right now), I'll be able to better learn about the durability. I normally order dark conservative colors for my horses' blankets but took a chance and ordered the "deep dive with marigold and grey" and it looks pretty sharp on my bay horse! I'm sure it doesn't matter to him but who knows, maybe it will make him more attractive to his two mare stablemates!! As usual, I'm grateful to SmartPak for making the exchange process so easy!

Great sheet but sizing not for WB
I love the quality of the sheet but should have read the prior reviews and sized up...sizing isn’t great for WB builds. Tight in the shoulders and neck opening. I’d exchange if I hadn’t monogrammed it. Good news is it fits my other horse who takes a smaller size.

Not for the big boys!
Ordered usual size. Shoulders fit like a corset at the neck opening very small and tight. Would be good alternative to grazing muzzle as there’s no way my horse could put his head down. Surcingles very short - couldn’t get them buckled. Material and construction seemed good so was disappointing that sizing so slim. If you are on the fence definitely size up.

Great idea, but needs a few tweaks
I bought this for my draft cross who wears an 84 in the other smartpak Ultimate sheets. This one fit ok.. A little tighter in the shoulders than the others, and a narrower neck opening. The overall length of the sheet is spot on with the others I have. The surcingles are also way shorter than our other sheets, I'll be getting extenders for them. As far as material quality, it seems pretty good however the trim and piping on the top rear ripped out the first night he wore it. Perhaps consider not using a decorative piping, lengthen the surcingle straps 6" more and it would be an amazing stable sheet that wicks sweat and works!

The best for high withers
We’ve tried them all and overall this blanket fits the best for high, shark fin withers. The quality is good but not as good as Weatherbeeta, which does not fit my horse in the neck area. Has so many good features including fleece at the wither area, which others do not have. SmartPak service is the best.

Lovely blanket
This is a lovely blanket! I havent gotten a chance to actually use it yet, so I cant testify to durability or anything along those lines. But the fit is good, materials feel of quality, and the colors are amazing!
