NOT waterproof!
Bought an Ultimate Turnout sheet and matching neck cover for my new pony. Went out to find a soaking wet pony under the sheet and neck cover. Both were new and hadn't even been washed yet. Smartpak customer service stood behind their product and is sending a replacement (you do have to pay return shipping however!). I hope this is a fluke as I bought several of these for both my ponies.

Ultimate Pony turn out sheet
My pony has worn this sheet for a month. I'm delighted that is has a 10 year warranty because he goes through 2 blankets a winter. He has rolled, scratched and played with buddies and the sheet has not shifted or snagged. The mud falls off the sheet with just a good brushing.

This blanket is well made, however, my pony managed to rip the belly strap off. The blanket has a 10 year guarantee and Smartpak replaced it, no questions asked! (Except to please wash the blanket before returning). Just ordered another one for my warmblood!

Great Blanket!
My youngest daughter's pony is an absolute PIG! hard on all of his clothing. The blanket is true to size with full coverage. He has attempted to destroy it in several different ways and it doesn't look like it will work.

Pony Sheet
Using as a turnout sheet for one of my 8 month old colts. Material seems to be holding up well, as the two colts bite and play with each other A LOT. One snap end of one leg straps broke already but overall I'd recommend this sheet.

Great Turnout for the Price
Have only used this blanket for a few days, unseasonably warm winter, but it is holding up well. This ponies pasture mate is a bit of a imp, so it will get well tested. Nice sturdy construction and handsome on, though the fit seems a bit wonky in the shoulders. I have a different brand, same size and this one is a tad smaller. Other than that a great blanket, great price, and the guarantee is awesome. Did I already say he is out with an imp?

really nice blanket
I bought this because my QH pony was getting a catheter put in to treat Lyme. I needed something fast that would cover his neck, keep it clean and keep him from rubbing out catheter for a month. This worked. It is pricey but high quality, fits well and is guaranteed for 10 years so I think will get my money's worth. I used this with a neck slinky and the catheter stayed put. I would buy this again for my TB next.

very good fit and quality
I just bought the Smart Pak Ultimate turnout pony blanket after trying two other styles that did not fit with a different company. I was pleasantly surprised how much I liked this Ultimate pony blanket. Great fit and the quality was impressive. I loved the free shipping and free returns especially since I have recently paid a lot of money to ship blankets back to the other companies. Excellent Quality!

Nice durable Blanket!
Very happy with this purchase. Nice durable blanket with the additional benefit of 10 yr Warranty. Fits very nice! I keep my horses turned out pretty much 24hrs a day and need a sturdy, well fitting, waterproof blanket. This one seems to be just that!! Only have it since couple of month. So far so good!

Great turnout for my pony!
This is the first winter that I've decided to blanket my pony, but last winter had some rough days so I didn't want to chance it again. I chose the "lite" turnout, but I love it so much that I might also buy a "medium!" It fit my pony perfectly and the colors look great with his leopard app coat. He is always rough on his fly masks and loves to roll in the mud, so I'm glad that I chose this turnout with the 10 year warranty. Thanks for a great product, Smartpak! :)

Fits my Paso Fino
I ordered the SmartPak deluxe blanket for my Paso Fino in his normal size and it turned out to be too big. I was excited because I was able to exchange it for the ultimate blanket for the same price (since it's pony size). I'm also thrilled with the 10 year guarantee. You can't beat it. The blanket is high quality. It's obvious SP pays attend to detail. The leg straps actually adjust small enough that my Houdini can't get his legs out and the front closure is super easy to use. I just wish there were MORE COLOR OPTIONS (hint, hint Smart Pack).

Biteproof Blankey !!!
After buying a different blanket to protect my mare and other blankets from the relentless bites and tears byher pasturemate , a smartpak advisor recommended this one because it had a tough outer layer and an amazing ten year guarantee against rips, tears etc !!!! I hadn't wanted to spend too much on. A blanket, but for an extra sixty bucks a ten year guarantee was a deal too good to pass up. I therefore exchanged my original purchased for this one and am very glad I did. It has already taken some serious rolls and bites, the mud brushes off very easily a d so far. Not a mark to be seen from teeth or anything else
On the down side, one leg strap was not stitched and fell off. While I could have returned it easily I wanted to use it so just replaced it with an old extra I had which worked fine. I do wish they had been a little more generous with the amount of Velcro in the front fastening and also that they had used a size bigger clips all around so I could clip them with gloves on - I find them a little awkward, but will get used to them in time.
However, I am very pleased with my purchase of this blanket and you really can't beat the value for money and ten year guarantee. Thanks Smartpak advisor !!!

Perfect for my little arab!
As someone who has primarily had to buy horse clothing in the 80-84 range, finding good quality blankets for my little arab was a challenge for me. Picking the Ultimate turnout for him was a no brainer. The fit is great on him, keeps him nice and dry, and gives me peace of mind. I love the ballistic nylon outer layer. My guy is low man in the pecking order and gets bit at and chased around a bit. I love knowing that the blanket is tough enough to withstand that, and if something does happen, I have SmartPak's ten year warranty to fall back on. I also noticed that this blanket stays pretty clean. I have watched my horse roll in the muck in this blanket and get it dirty and disgusting. After the rain and snow it looks brand new again. My other blankets, are cleaner after the wet weather but still show signs of being worn/used. I can't believe I'm hoping that my other horse's blankets need to be replaced, because when they do, I'm getting the Ultimate for all of them.

Great blanket
I am very pleased with this blanket. Everything in the discription was accurate. I do not blanket mature horses except for extreme weather, I bought this blanket for a weanling to blanket a little more often. The blanket I purchased is medium fill, it's not the warmest blanket, but it's tough and it cuts the wind, which is what I wanted. Very well made blanket.

Great value, WAY to big on pony.
I liked this well enough that I think I'll buy one for my 16.2hand gelding...however this particular blanket I purchased for my little 10.2 hand pony and the drop was soooo long it hung down below her knees!!

pony size not accurate for pony body..
Length a little long for pony..also leg straps hang down because where they attach near butt could be two inches higher. And actual leg straps too long too..not pony body type accurate...quick clips bend then break open and break off easily if pony plays and rolls and blanket gets pulled. Would like brighter colors to choose from. Hurray to a warrenty and quality of blanket material and waterproof breathable qualities though.
