Beautiful Halter
Beautiful halter, that won’t break the bank! I originally got the size “horse” for my 16.2 KWPN, but it was too small. I reordered the oversized and it’s perfect! (Only photo I have for reference with correct sized halter is him receiving his MagnaWave treatment).

Decent leather, poor stitching
I bought this halter as a gift but unfortunately the stitching was very poor and the leather is separating. I had one of these years ago and loved it and it lasted forever. I think the leather quality is very good for the price point but I do worry about durability with the loose stitching.

Great
This halter came as a free gift with my order of over $200 in December. It was a promotion offer going on. Was very surprised on the quality for a free gift with order. I wouldn’t have ordered it otherwise due to I already have some leather halters from Weaver and Circle Y. Very disappointed in the poor quality
I got this halter for free during the Black Friday sale and I was so excited! I had bought one of these halters about 8 years ago and loved the quality. What I received last week was one of the worst quality leather halters I’ve ever seen. The leather is barely leather (feels more like stiff plastic) and the fittings look like fake and plastic-y. It is not the same halter I bought years ago. If I had actually paid money for this halter, it would be immediately returned. Really disappointed with the quality of this halter.

Soft leather, great quality for price
Great quality halter for this low price. The leather is immediately very soft, a nice rich color with attractive hardware and felt substantial compared with other halters at this price point. After a week of heavy rain the halter has stretched out a good amount and warped a little bit. I needed to go up a hole so will see how it holds up over time. Overall would recommend this halter if you're on a budget.

Horrible quality
I definitely should have splurged on the double stitched. This is the WORST QUALITY halter I have ever seen or used. It bleeds dye onto my white horse when wet. The edges are all curled and it’s wrinkly and weird after it got wet once. My horse is a 17hh warmblood and it’s stretched out so much that it is too big on him now on the tightest hole.
I would only buy this if it was on major sale, not worth more than $20 honestly.

Runs Large and some quality issues
I wanted to love this halter and I even paid to put his name on it, but definitely not high quality like some, including stretching out with very little use. I noticed when I got it out of package some of the stitching on noseband was crooked, but my horse was leaving for FL and it otherwise looked good so I didn’t mention it. I ordered a horse bc people said it ran a little big. I have a big headed big bodied Tb. I sent my horse to my trainer because of our weather at home and with the halter on and it seemed to fit but did have some extra room but not as noticeable w/the shipping poll protector on it. But once I went down to FL to ride and also upon him arriving home I’d been noticing how it seemed to look a little stretched out in nose and cheeks. But my trainer didn’t even use the halter much while down there as she had just a plain old one they used on them to save their good ones. When he arrived home, the halter looked huge on him! It’s only been a couple months and he didn’t even use it down there but a couple times for local travel! His nameplate still looks great but the halter definitely runs large and the noseband has stretched out a ton. It looks like a halter that’s been used for many many months/year not a mostly new one. There’s a few loose threads poking through now too.
Disappointed in this halter. Fine for turnout/extra but I’m sad bc this was supposed to be his show halter and it looks bad! I guess I’ll stick with Perry or Nunn Finer where the quality is good, I just hate the price tag. Granted I had a brown one last longer from tractor supply than this.

It’s too thick for a leather punch, it needs more holes for size adjustments, otherwise very pretty & nice quality. Hesitate to recommend, a pain to remedy as mentioned above.

Expensive Look, Great Price, Excellent Quality!
I purchased the dark brown SP double stitch halter and absolutely love it! It comes already soft and buttery and there is no need to condition it to try and break it in. When you do condition it, it retains its beautiful rich color and just keeps getting better and better. I appreciate that it has the cheek piece that detaches for those horses that don't mind a halter being slipped on and off. This halter is a class act!

Pretty & Practical!
Love this halter! Super practical for everyday use, and it's really quite pretty! I will say that the leather is a little stiff out of the box, but nothing that a quick clean and condition didn't fix. I went ahead and got the halter plate as well, which also came out beautifully!

This halter is nice for the price, fits well. I bought one last year and was so impressed by the beautiful leather quality i wanted one for my other horse. The halter is fine, but not even close to the same quality. Leather is dry and not well stitched. Still a decent halter for the price but if you have an older one, not nearly as well made.

Nice Quality
I've bought these halters before. They are nice quality and hold up quite well even with my rather destructive monkey of a horse. Love the added engraving option. SmartPak is the first company I've found that actually puts it on the halter so it's all ready to go. They are quite durable as well. I have a couple of these halters that are well over 10 years old and they still look good after the hot summers and sometimes wet winters. I often get compliments on these halters. I always refer folks to SmartPak when they are interested in one just like it.
