Rated 4 out of 5 by Cora from Quality fly mask, I wish it had a forelock hole. The pony I bought this for hasn’t arrived yet, so I can’t judge the fit. It does seem like it’s great quality and very cute. The only reason I wouldn’t buy it again is because it doesn’t have a forelock hole. I will be getting it altered for that reason.

The first was great, he kept it on for a week (I switch them once a week) and it helped keep his nose from getting sunburned. The second mask only lasted about a day before the zipper came undone and wouldn’t go back together. He is wearing it now without the extra length, which is ok, but not exactly why I purchased the deluxe version. Also, on all of these masks, the material the ears are made of is not super durable. My ponies are hard on their masks, and the masks still work, but almost all of my ears have rips or holes. Aside from those items, I really do like these masks and they do the bulk of their job.

Rated 1 out of 5 by DCTK from Very Disappointed I expected a perfect fly mask from a brand that is made up of horse people. I don't want to sound mean but did any of them try the mask before selling it? I don't see how the design even got past even one equestrian. I got this mask because it has 10% more UV ray protection then the one I currently have for my Appy. He needs sunscreen AND a UV-Ray make to protect his face from the sun and even then he still loses some hair. So I got this mask...The sizing is small, large and just right all at the same time. The nose is not quite long enough, the face fits fine, but the back ( the part that goes around the throat) is way to loose. I haven't seen flys in his mask yet but there is plenty of room for them to get in. This is a huge problem for some horses. ie his pasture mate. I don't know if it works better then his other mask because he can take this one off easily. The brow brand lining is just plan stupid. It's sooo thick! Fly masks are worn in the summer not the dead of winter. Anyone want to wear a fur stole in 90 degrees? No slot for his forelock to come though. This needs to be an option. Any horse person would know this. I hate all detachable nose mask because they all have thick material going over the nose. News flash. Detachable vs Permanent needs to be an option. Anyone that has used masks on more then one horse knows why. The zipper is thinner then Velcro, but metal on the face is... stupid. Horse rub their faces all the time. If you take the nose off then they will cut themselves up on the zipper. I won't ever take mine off so I don't have to worry about that...unless one of his buddies finds the tab and starts pulling it. It is well hidden though...so they did one thing right...on something that should be an option. ( at the time I bought this it wasn't, they may have released another with an attached nose,) I do like the color. No black on it so it's cooler on my horse....if it didn't have an arctic fox across the brow band. ( No it's not real fur and I am exaggeration the amount. but it's still why to much fleece for a summer mask.) So yeah, very disappointing for a mask " made by horse people".

Rated 3 out of 5 by BrittB from Nice mask but don’t like the style I bought the small pony mask for my 12h pony that wears a small yearling sized cashel mask. The mask runs small and barely fit him. I do like the material it is made out of so I kept it for emergencies. The zipper idea for the nose cover was great except that the zipper itself stays on the mask when the nose is removed. This makes me nervous to keep on him in turnout as the zipper could cut him. Wish the zipper stayed on the nose portion. If you are looking for this mask to use as a long mask with the nose coverage it’s great but runs smalls. If you are looking to use this mask without the nose attachment I do not recommend it.
