Overall very durable, great quality, good thickness, and super easy to clean! I love this pad and would love to buy more! Great for all purpose work! Great monogramming, and the color hasn't faded at all. Still looks brand new after being thrown in the washer a few times!

I love this saddle pad so much!
It came in perfect. I ordered green with silver embroidery and it couldn’t have looked better! The pad is lightweight and dries off quickly if my horse gets sweaty riding! It’s held up great and stays clean easily.

love this pad!!
i have two saddle pads from smartpak. i’m not sure which variety my royal blue one was, but the black one i have is of this variety. i am very proud of how both of them work for the mare i ride. she is a 14.3hh fjord mare, and she looks great in both colors. when both of the saddle pads arrived, i was very amazed by the quality of them. thank you smartpak for supplying us with high quality tack for horses!

Really Durable
I have had this saddle pad for 3 years and it is still in great shape (and I use it often on my saddle pad rotation), I got it in white with and embroidery, and the white is still bright and the embroidery is in great shape. The only reason that im not giving it 5 stars is that I have another smartpak brand pad that is designed for wither clearance. For my high withered horse, this pad could have more wither relief.

Fell apart after 2 uses
I bought the hunter green saddle pad and it fell apart after two uses. The stitch ring came undone on the lining so fluff fell out, and then a lot of the stitching unraveled on the diamond pattern. Would not buy again- found cheaper saddle pads that are way better quality in other places.

Good Quality, the horse loves it too!
This was my first ever Saddle Pad I’ve ever owned. And I can say I’m thoroughly impressed, though I have nothing to compare it to besides a shaped pad. It’s really a gorgeous pad. The stitching is perfect, and so is the color. A bit different than the picture (I had crown blue) but still pretty darn similar! Very pleased. :)

Good price and a sturdy appearing saddle pad that is generously sized. The fabric is a bit slippery and not as absorbent as some but it is still quite useful and looks great.

BIG, but OK for the price
These pads are quite large. Probably fine for a dressage saddle, but too big for my CWD Mademoiselle jumper saddle. Will keep them as they were monogrammed, but don't recommend for a jumper saddle.

These are great pads! I have several of them in various colors. Great schooling pads. They hold up well in the wash, and come clean pretty easily. They have a soft feel and are just the right thickness. They appear to fit most saddles, I have a 16" CC and it fits just fine.

Thin Saddle Pad
I bought this last summer for showing at 4-H because we are required to have white saddle pads. I'm just gonna say you get what you pay for, $20 is a great price, but the pad is thin. Which may be great for some, but for my high withered and sensitive back Arabian, this was not right for her, she needs a much thicker pad. Would not buy again.

I ordered several of these pads and had them embroidered with my barn's logo and my initials. Seriously, what's not to love. The embroidery work is high quality, the pad fits perfectly with my 17" CWD, it holds up well to washes and is the perfect thickness to absorb sweat without bulk-- it's pretty much perfect!

Perfect pad for anything!!
I bought this saddlepad in my team’s colors to compete in mounted games. I used iron on letters to put our team name and pony name on the pad, and it came out so nice looking!
The purple color is perfect. It’s a rich purple, not a childish or bright color. It looks wonderful.
The pad itself is the best part. The fabric is tough but soft, and I can see it lasting for years. Ya know how some saddlepads don’t conform well to the curve of a horse’s back? Some are even straight! This pad is made with a well fitting curve that lays right on my pony like it’s custom made!
Dirt slips off on its own, and can be brushed off instead of needing a wash very often. Great for a weekend of competing where you need to reuse the pad all weekend.
It’s a nice cotton blend, so should also wash easily when that time comes.

Love this pad!
I bought this pad back in March in Turquoise on a free embroidery day and I couldn't be happier with it. I received it super fast and I was not disappointed. The color is beautiful and matches my horse's SMB boots and a set of polo wraps I have for her flawlessly. The pad is a good thickness too and fits perfectly under my 17.5" saddle. It has held up wonderfully and I can't wait to receive my second pad in the Wedgewood blue.

Nice cute pad for a low price, a few drawbacks
This is a cute basic schooling pad at a good price point. The stitching seems quality, the material color won't fade over time, and it's a good thickness (not thin like a baby pad but not super thick and fluffy.)
This pad is a little bit small. My saddle is 17", and as you can see in the photo the pad looks just a little bit small in comparison. My halfpad is longer than the jump pad underneath. It's not a huge deal and I will continue to use it, but it's something to consider if you have a bigger horse (my horse is a 16.2hh OTTB.)
The only major complaint I have is the wither relief. There isn't much at all. There is a slight curve, but if you have a horse with big withers or sensitive withers, I would pass on this pad. I won't be buying another one for this reason. If you have something with flatter or mutton withers, this is a great affordable option.
Union Hill makes a great basic jump pad and dressage pad at about the same price/color range/quality that offers a lot more wither relief. Unfortunately Smartpak doesn't carry the jump pad anymore and is probably phasing the dressage pad out soon as it's on sale for a huge discount. It stinks because I'd buy a ton more of those pads!
