The SmartPak Combo Neck Fleece Cooler is a stable staple for any horse’s blanket collection. It’s perfect for cooling and drying your horse out after a good workout or bath, as a ringside dress sheet at shows, or as a blanket liner for chilly weather. This cooler is made from high-quality, anti-pill fleece and features an attached neck design that gives your horse poll-to-tail cozy warmth. It’s moisture-wicking qualities make it great for absorbing sweat or water to help your horse warm and dry. Plus, the smooth nylon lining at the shoulders prevent rubs. Doesn't wick very well
I bought this because my horse sweats a lot and I need a cooler to wick away the sweat. I own a few different coolers and this one is sub par to them. I find that it absorbs the sweat rather than wicking away. I emailed SP to see if I could return the cooler but never heard back.
It fits true to size. I bought a 78" and my 16hh is typically a 78" in coolers and blankets.

Love this cooler!
I wanted a cooler with a neck piece to use after bathing on chillier days. This cooler fits perfect and is exactly what I needed, for a great price! The XL fits my 16.2/16.3h finer built warmblood exactly right. He generally wears an 81” blanket but has moved into an 84” in a heavy, if that helps anyone with sizing.

Dries my horse in the winter!
With a heavy winter coat, they can get sweaty quickly in the winter. I love that with the attached neck, she's fully covered in the trailer coming home from trainer while she dries off. The water literally wicks to the OUTSIDE of the cooler! Stays in place well too.

I bought this to replace a cooler that wasn’t wicking moisture too well and it was a good replacement. My horse never dried with the last cooler now he’s dry within a half hour on these chilly nights

Great quality!
I needed a cooler with a neck to help dry my mare after winter workouts, and this one is perfect! The fleece is nice and thick, and it does a wonderful job wicking sweat. I also really like the closures, which are fast and easy to take on and off. Thanks for another wonderful product SmartPak!

Super cozy!
I was looking for a fleece cooler for the colder months for my 17 year old OTTB and this cooler matched perfectly with my other SmartPak blankets. Not only did the cooler come in the color I was looking for (black with grey and white piping), I love how the high neck keeps my boy cozy but can also be rolled back. As always, this SmartPak product feels durable while also being fashionable!

Nice inexpensive cooler
Does the job ... transfers sweat off the house and into the cooler. I ordered an extra large to make sure it fit my 16.3 have, 1400 pound Holsteiner. It fits him perfectly.

Great fit
I bought this blanket recently for my boy to wear to/from our weekly lessons. It fits great (he’s a 78 and the large is perfect) and is easy to put on and take off. I dislike the tail cord (would prefer just an adjustable snap like regular blankets), but it seems to be the norm with coolers.

A cooler with a fleece neck is a MUST!!! Got this on sale, great value for the money and it performs like a more expensive cooler. Washed up well, buckles hold cooler to body so horse cools down faster. Recommend!

Great quality for the price!
I bought this cooler for everyday schooling use, and received something that could easily be used at a show! It fits my mare perfectly, and dries her quickly. It also doesn’t collect hair and shavings as easily as other fleece coolers I have had. I love the neck coverage and the lining to slide easily across the shoulders and mane. Highly recommend!

I needed a cooler for my 4 year old Holsteiner that had the neck part as well. He is 17.2 hands with huge shoulders. This is the first cooler that has it him through the shoulders without ripping the cooler. As with every purchase I make at Smartpak, I absolutely love this cooler!

Looks good, works great!
I have a fuzzy little Quarter Pony who lives in a covered outdoor corral, and we ride in a heated indoor arena. I obviously don't want to turn her out in the cold with a wet coat, and this cooler makes it much easier and faster for her to dry off! It's well-made, looks great on her, and I got it at a great price, too. Highly recommended!

Ok, so I have not had a chance to use it yet but did try it on and it fit completely true to size and looks great. I have other cooler, a cheap thin one and a very thick expensive Horse-ware cooler. I didn't have a cooler with a neck attached. This cooler is thicker than my Centaur cooler but not as thick as the Horse-ware cooler I own. I am sure it will be just perfect for my needs. The price is very good and the quality seems good as well.

I got this cooler a couple of months ago and it is perfect. The quality and fit is great for the price. I love the neck cover for cold winter nights. I've also been using it as an extra layer under the smartpak high neck turnout blanket. Both worked together really well with no slipping. I will definitely buy more in the future.

Just what I had been looking for!
This is a beautiful cooler, but I actually bought it for a liner for my mare's non-detachable neck blanket. I didn't expect it to be so nice. The medium size fit my 78" blanket-sized mare perfectly. It would be nice if there were a Velcro front closure along with those easy to use buckles(holes just right). This is just a great product!

Love it!
Have been using for a month or so. I always had the big huge rectangle coolers and this is so much better - I feel safer leaving my horse in his stall unattended while I clean up, etc. without having to worry about him getting tangled up in a massive amount of fabric. It takes him a little longer than I'd anticipate to dry, but his coat is pretty thick so I'll chalk it up to that. So far so great!

Awesome Fit and Works Amazingly!
