This would be the perfect girth IF!
I have used this girth for about a year now and love it but for the fact the buckles are steel, not STAINLESS steel as stated by Emily in your video and they rust.

Great value, easy cleaning
I’ve only been using this girth for a few months so I can’t say how it stands up to years of wear but riding three times a week, soft brushing it after use and keeping clean it’s healed up beautifully. My horse seems to enjoy it and I love that it has many keepers on it for your billet straps.

Get what you pay for?
I've never used a non-leather girth before so I was excited to try this one. You certainly couldn't beat the price. But a year or so on, this girth has developed a problem. The padding seems to have bunched up and created two lumps in the belly area the size and hardness of cherry pits which I'm guessing can't be comfortable for my horse. On the plus side, it's sturdy and easy to take care of.

Poor quality
I've has this girth for about 4 months, and the buckles are already rusting (see pic). If it weren't for the durability issue, I would rate this girth as a 4 or 5 for looks and comfort. If you're looking for a long term investment, I would suggest you look at other brands.

Not a fan
I got it because I wanted a girth that gave more elbow freedom than my Wintec. Problem is, this girth is wider, so the cut-outs don't really make a difference. The top billet keepers kept getting in the way when I tried to tighten the girth from the saddle, so I cut them off but then the girth didn't stay where it should and slid back. I will say it was a good price but I guess you get what you pay for.

Amazing for the price!
I bought this girth a couple weeks ago and it has held up so nicely! So elastic and doesn’t rub. Has a nice finished look for such a great price. I would recommend this to any first time horse owners or anyone on a budget!

Good for the Price
I got this girth as a replacement for my new OTTB. Like other reviews said, it is a "thinner" girth but my mare is pretty sensitive so i'm doubtful she'd like anything bulkier. The hardware seems to be of good quality and works fine for schooling.

Great quality for the price
I needed a new dressage girth and was looking for something inexpensive and comfortable for my mare. This girth was perfect! I almost went with the girth which was the same brand as my saddle but I thought, hey why not try something which has good ratings but is not as pricey? I was not disappointed! My mare is VERY comfortable in it - she used to act girthy in her old one- it wipes off easily and seems well-made. I have had it for a few weeks now and am very pleased.

Rusty buckles
I’ve had this for a while and I polish the buckles regularly because I saw they were rusting but I’m disappointed they don’t make it very well known that this isn’t stainless steel. Won’t buy this again.

Too thin
Tried because I’ve liked Smartpak items in the past. However, girth is really thin. When I tried it on my horse, you can easily feel the buckles through the girth. Tighter you go, more you can feel buckles. Can’t imagine how it feels to horse when fully tightened. Buckles seemed a little cheap too. Needless to say, return the girth.

Works for my barrel-y Arab
I have a barrel belly 14h Arab who is prone to girth sores. She has a good sized stride and she seems to have a lot of skin behind/under her armpits. Whether I stretch her forelegs or not before riding, she will get rubbed or pinched skin...For awhile, a mohair girth worked but I was not good at cleaning it regularly, so once it gunked up and hardened with hair and sweat, it start to create sores. I started looking for a non-mohair girth that I could keep clean. I tried a few of the memory foam or gel girths, but they were too high in profile (thick) so that they would rub on her elbows due to her stride. The same issue resulted when using a fleece or terry girth cover. I decided to try this SmartPak girth. It is nice and flat (low profile) so it doesn't rub behind her elbows. I don't know if it's necessary or not, but I do it anyway b/c I don't want to risk getting another gall, but I put a layer of petroleum jelly on her gall-prone area.s I have been riding with this girth and I have had no issues! i am so happy! My only issue is that rust has started to form on the buckles because I wash it after every use (to remove the petroleum jelly), but I will happily deal with a little rust to clean up vs. long-lasting annoying girth sores! I hope this helps others who have the same issue - I did a lot of internet reading and product searching...

Adequate.
I was looking for an inexpensive, comfortable girth similar to a wintec girth I was borrowing. The reviews on this girth weren't great, but the price was right so I tried it. I have not had any rust problems with normal use, and I have hosed it off a few times and hung to dry. My horse does sweat a lot more under this girth than he does anywhere else, but no rubs. The extra keepers are nice, and this girth is very easy to use with nice roller buckles.

Affordable!
Needed something affordable & easy to keep clean. No rubs! Just hose off when it gets dirty. Horse I've been using it on is usually a 48" girth, bought a 24" dressage. Fits great!

What you see is what you get!
Bought this a month ago for my new 16.3 Canadian Sport Horse. Fits perfectly and easy to clean, just hose it off. I have anatomical leather girths for my Morgan which are great for his body type but if you have an average fit ponthis is perfect.

Great girth!
I really like this girth. It fits my Mattes girth cover perfectly. The only problem is it does not have a ring to attach any training equipment. My favorite part of the girth is the loops to tuck my billet straps.
