Carrot cake heaven!
I bought the carrot cake SmartCookies about a month ago. When I first opened the bag, I felt like I was in carrot cake heaven! It literally smells like carrot cake. I train my horses using R+, so I always love a good treat I can use as a higher value option when my horse performs something that is more difficult. These treats tick all the boxes! Low sugar, palatability, and perfect size are all the qualities I look for in a treat. While they are more expensive than the typical hay pellets I use for training, they are a great option for a special treat to use every so often. I would definitely buy these again for my two horses!

I got a small bag as a free gift with an order, and I chose the peppermint. My horse is a general treat hound anyway, I think he'd eat a rock if you held it out to him, but what I noticed with these is that long after I feed him some he stands there just licking and licking with the happiest look on his face, LOL. He seems to really like them! And I love the simple, natural ingredient list. So, I just ordered the big bag for him!

Go-to Treat!
I bought these about 5 months ago and they are still so fresh! Just as if I opend the bag for the first time. I personally have the Banana Bread flavor and not only do they smell amazing but my horse can't get enough of these wonderful treats! I am always wanting him to have a good balanced weight as he is a hard keeper but when feeding these no guilt is felt. Totally recommend!

I like that these are solid enough to keep in my pocket, but they break easy enough for my very senior horses to eat them as well. One horse wasn't too sure of the banana flavor, but he ate it anyway. The rest of the horses ate them no problem. I also like that they are not full of sugar and have simple ingredients.

We have tried the banana bread, peppermint patty and watermelon flavors. Unfortunately, my horse refused to eat the watermelon flavor. In fact, multiple horses in the barn wouldn't even eat them. They are rather pricey, but my horse likes them and I love the smell of the banana bread ones. We will not be ordering the watermelon flavor ever again, though.

My horse LOVES these!
We have been feeding the peppermint pattie SmartCookies since they came out; they are one of Max's favorite treats! I like that they're small enough that I can feed a handful and not feel like I'm giving too many treats. I also LOVE how minty they smell, and that they're in a resealable pouch. The 3# size lasts a long time, too! I recommend them to everyone because they're low in sugar but (apparently) very flavorful! Max just knows he can have as many as he wants, lol!

These are my favorite horse cookies for my horses they love them I love how great they smell and healthy choice for them! I like how the pieces are small so last longer! I bought these with a coupon in got in the smartpak calendar bought one and got another free! Sadly smartpak doesn’t do the monthly coupons anymore :/ these cookies are on the pricey side for a tiny bag so the coupon helped but they are still my horses favorite!

We've been very happy with Smart Cookies. They smell wonderful! And they are a good "snacking" size, especially when training. They are a bit on the hard side so if your horse has trouble chewing, you might want to look for a softer treat.
