Great Purchase
It's worth every penny. Horseware Ireland thought of everything: chest clips instead of buckles, pull tabs on velcro, durable and breathable mesh, durable edging, longer belly band and longer drape on legs. My horses are very allergic to bites and stings, and this is the best sheet out there.

Rubs my OTTB
I was super excited for this fly sheet, I had a Protector the last couple of years and it didn’t rub my gelding until the lining wore. This one rubs his hips and his withers, and the little bit that the seam for the tail flap hangs over his tail - it rubs there too! He measures about 76” and I have him in a 75”. I wonder if the 72” would have been better but he’s wide with big shoulders so I’m hesitant... otherwise I love the Rambo quality.

Love the protection
My horse lives outside 24/7. This is great bug and UV protection. It also holds up well to wear and tear. The previous reviews stated that it was snug across the belly for rounder horses, so I bought the next size up. It was way too big. I exchanged it with a friend for the correct size and it fits fine and my horse is very wide. I would say it fits to size.

Awesome Fly Sheet!!!
My stallion is "Captain Destructo" when it comes to fly sheets and he seems to really like this one!!! No other fly sheets that we have tried have fit him as well as this one & it stays where it belongs!!! The extra long coverage is fantastic and the neck cover is amazing the way it stays up on it's own. So much protection, such a happy boy!!! Thank you for offering this product Smart Pak!!

Worth every dollar
This sheet is gorgeous. I have agonized over getting a fly sheet. My horse is black and gets hot so easy, but he has sensitive skin so I was worried about some of the sheets that have very "plastic feeling" mesh, that feels like a tough flymask. This is a perfect weight, light but durable. Has really nice soft lining around the withers and other points and I love the surcingle plus Velcro belly band . My horse is an ottb, 16.1 hands and on the slender side. I bought the 75 and I think this runs quite true to size. I probably couldve sized up but I've seen a lot of fly sheets that hang down and I didn't want him to be in a baggy heavy sheet. I'm sticking with it. He has a pretty thin neck and this is fairly snug at the base, if you're horse is bigger boned or has a thick neck, I would size up. Right now I just don't even clip the bottom neck Velcro on the neck piece. It stays in place fine.

Durable with great air flow
My mare has had this sheet a few weeks now, and she wears it while she’s out at night. She’s not typically tough on blankets, so I splurged on this one thinking it would last a while. So far, I can’t find a single tear or snag. It does a great job keeping the bugs off. She’s a chestnut TB with sensitive skin, and before she began wearing the sheet she’d be covered in bug bites. Since she’s started wearing it every night, she’s been bite free. It fits true to size. My only issue with the fit is that the belly cover seems to have been created for a more svelte figure rather than my tank; the straps reach just fine but the velcro closest to her back end doesn’t quite meet.

Rubs mane
I bought this several years ago and only used it one summer. The sheet rubbed her mane above the withers such that she had no hair in a 2 inch section of her mane.

Great for mild summers or night turnout
I bought this fly sheet a year ago and for the most part I really like it. It does its job and is super durable, plus it looks great with the Rambo fly mask. It mostly doesn’t rub, but it does break the hair a little on the base of my mare’s neck. Unfortunately it does tend to get hot and leave my mare sweaty on her shoulders when the temperature starts to really climb. But that’s not an issue on the milder TX summer days or during night turnout. I haven’t noticed that the “no-fly zone” actually works, though the flys down here are extremely persistent and the sheet still does a good job of physically blocking the flies. I’ve tried Kensington and Weatherbeeta fly sheets and the Rambo is definitely my favorite.

Durable and comfortable
I have 2 fly sheets...one is 3 years old and the other 2 years old and both are still in good shape. One horse has Culicoides hypersensitivity (Sweet itch) and this was the game changer that allowed him to be comfortable and regrow his mane and tail. Wears it 18-20 hours a day in Florida summer and dusk & dawn (6 PM to 7AM) the rest of the year. My only recommendation for improvement is a shoulder pleat for more shoulder room.

Saved my horse’s hide!
Bought this as a last resort for my super fly sensitive guy that loses hair and itches like crazy.
When I put this fly sheet on him I could literally see the flies hover but not land on the sheet.
Gibbs is now a happy boy and does not itch all over and best of all he has a summer coat.

Awesome quality
I was extremely lucky to have bought this on sale. Such an incredible deal! That said, it's certainly worth the full price. The mesh is soft and unlike the Rambo protector fly sheet, the top of the blanket sits high enough on my horse's withers to not rub. Extremely grateful for that! I haven't had the blanket for long, so I can't talk about it's durability, but I do have friends with the same flysheet and they still look great after 2 years. My horse always wears a Rambo 78 and this fits true to that size.

Always a Winner
The Rambo Flysheets are the best and only fly sheet I will buy. This year I switched from the Protector to the Fly Buster with Vamoose and I really like the design because it wraps around the belly. And the Vamoose seems to help. Instead of buying 2 gallons+ of fly spray for one horse over the summer, I bought two 16 oz bottles and still have most of the 2nd one left. You are not supposed to use the Pyrethrin with the flysheet and it doesn't seem necessary either. One critique I would give to Horseware regarding the fit of these is that they don't fit well on horses with big barrels. I bought two this year- one 78 and one 81. The 78 fit him lengthwise but I could not get the velcro to meet under his belly. The 81 fits with the belly part, but is soooo long off the back. I think they should offer more varied sizes. Horses come in all sizes! I happen to have a WB shaped TB.

Best fly sheet ever
Lightweight and durable. Excellent coverage. Love that neck is detachable yet the attachments are very strong. I went down a full size for each of my two and glad I did.

Great Fit and Fabric
This fly sheet is made out of extremely breathable yet durable fabric. My Friesian stallion is not easy on sheets and blankets! He loves to roll and to try to chew on and rip blankets. So far, this fly sheet is holding up great! I also love the way it fastens under the horse's belly...very secure yet adjustable fitting! Love it!

Impressive quailty!
The quailty and thouht that went into this blanket was impressive! The material used in the chest area looked and felt able to stand up to wearing daily. I
The blanket not fit my horse. The drop in shoulder was too long. I SO wanted it to fit! Sigh but had to send it back

Worth every penny, does run large. My horse that fits an 81 in the Amigo Bravo 12 and others, had to downsize to a 78

Perfect fit
No rubs on my mare who wears this daily during buggy months. She’s super sensitive and will just lay down when overwhelmed by bit flies. She lays right in front of the tack room and waits for us to put her sheet on! It is shaped well and tuff to boot!

So great for my mane man
The barn manager had told me I needed to get a fly sheet for my thoroughbred, as they were really eating him up this year in grass turnout (he is in western NJ). My trainer told me nothing less than Rambo. So I bought this immediately, and it has worked great. He still has some bites, but not as bad as before. He doesn't seem uncomfortable from heat, etc., but he is turned out overnight. Also note that he rolls a little, but otherwise is very easy on sheets and blankets in turnout.

Seems durable
Bought this a month ago and it seems to be holding up pretty good. Within the first week the Velcro in the front was gone, but that is ok. I like the detachable hood. My horse normally wears an 86 and I ordered the 83, and I could of maybe even ordered 1 size smaller, but then the leg flaps might not of been in the correct spot.

Works well but one issue
I bought this for my very thin skinned thoroughbred and it works great to keep bugs and such off of him. I was surprised that it snags and pulls pretty easily. He isn't hard on blankets as a rule and there are no holes or tears, but several pulls after only a short time.

No fly zone didn't work for us
Within a minute of putting this on, multiple mosquitoes landed on the sheet. The sheet itself is super high quality and feels like it will hold up very well though. Not worth paying extra for the 'no-fly zone' in my opinion though

Well worth the money!
I LOVE this sheet- it has the belly guard, neck cover and UV protection I was looking for. However, it does get warm. I have had to turn them out for the last two months without it because they get very hot even when they go out at 7. My gelding has torn the shoulder lining up and my mare's sheet is starting to do the same. On 2 of my 4 of these the butt strap has ripped off. However, that's not the end of the world and the mesh part is still 100%.

Just write the check and be thankful you did
Best fly sheet ever. Seriously. I worked for a large show barn and I've tried them all. This one is the best and so worth the money. Yes, I know it's ridiculously expensive but it's so worth it. The fit is great, they hang well, the material tents so that air moves under the sheet well. There's also neck, belly, and good leg coverage. No gnats under the tush with the large fail cover. It has made such a big difference in my guy and every other horse I've seen. If you need to use a fly sheet, this is the only one to buy.

Flies No More!
My horse was done with the gnats and midges as was I! The barn where I have my horse has a "spread" policy where they "spread" the manure in a small paddock where they are standing and it is a nightmare for everyone, especially the horses who are in such pain from being eaten alive, that they even rub their manes out from desperation. I decided to make the investment and it paid off and I should have done so before spending hundreds on products that just go away in the end. This sturdy blanket will be around a long time. Thanks folks!

Great fly sheet
Got this for my OTTB for the summer here in TX. Great fly sheet that's light enough to keep him cool, but thick material that won't break easily. The belly straps are really nice with Velcro to keep it secure. the neck straps are also Velcro and secure. The chest piece is nice and secure as well with two snap buckles. I also like that it has a tail strap instead of leg straps. My boy is pretty easy on blankets but I really love this one! Very nicely made. Also, I got a size 75 even though my boy is usually a 78. I suggest sizing down one

Best Fly Sheet!
This fly sheet fits my appaloosa gelding like it was made for him. I was worried if it would fit a stock horse - and yes it does. He took a 78 and typically wears a 80-82 in stock type stable sheets like Big D. He's had the sheet on in 90+ humid weather and stays fairly comfortable. Lot less sweating then the Weatherbetta Bug-a-betta he had last. It was easy to brush off when he rolled in the mud as well. This sheet is worth the money.

Disappointing
I bought this with high hopes knowing the great Rambo brand, but it just didn't turn out for me. I'll start with the good though -- I love the fit and the fact that it has a tail strap rather than leg straps. And it's actually quite cool despite the tough fabric, even for my horse in central FL in the hot high 90's and humid temps! Ok now the bad...the No Fly Zone didn't seem to do anything as others have mentioned. I didn't notice a difference at all vs her prior sheet, a Weatherbeeta Bugbeeta Detach a neck. Somehow flies still managed to get under the Rambo and bite her, and after Day 1 there were already snags in the material and the soft lining that's supposed to prevent rubs was breaking down. Which is a shame because my mare is VERY good to blankets - goes out alone and just stands there and grazes, doesn't rub on anything or run around. So I was quite surprised. And then the real last straw was about a week or so into her wearing it (just at night for her turnout), we discovered it was rubbing the hair off her shoulders!
Thankfully the awesome team at SmartPak customer service is taking it back which is much appreciated especially since this wasn't a cheap sheet! :)
