Misleading Item Description
I'm a Horsewares brand loyalist investing in Rambo with multiple turnout blankets, liners, stable sheets, coolers, show sheets, fly sheets, boots etc... Due to Rambo consistently delivering quality, innovation, ease of use, and performance, I have stuck with the line for two horses. This Autumn Series Turnout, however, is a huge disappointment and failure as a turnout. The second time using (yesterday), the sheet ripped leaving a gaping hole rendering it useless. While the item description states turnout, this is misleading as this item is really NOT built for turnout. I was so excited about the design concept with the net lining, contour liner insert, and disc front closure, however, the fabric used is definitely sub-standard (too soft) for turnout even though the item description states it as durable. While the item does seem to uphold temperature regulation, it makes for a stable sheet only. My horse and his pasture mates are not hard on blankets, do not engage in rough play as majority are seniors and stand on the hay pile. Last year, a staff member mistakenly turned my horse out in his Optimo Stable Sheet. He rolled and even the Optimo material withstood the mud, dampness, and roll much better. Sadly, I would NOT recommend the Autumn Series for turnout as it does not meet its intended use per the item description and price tag.

Top technical fall sheet
Top technical turnout sheet with removable liner and neck. The adjustability is what makes it so comfortable for your individual horse’s needs. We have wildly variable weather within one day and this sheet keeps my boy feeling just right especially outdoors with no shelter. Would not describe as durable for rough play, youngsters or horses tough on blankets. The material is soft and thin for comfort and breathability. The Autumn Series is perfect for fall weather and heavier than the Summer Series sheet making it worthwhile to invest in both. Been using both sheets for 2 years and can’t do without them.

Worst blanket I’ve owned in 35 years!
My horse, who has never ripped a blanket in the 9 years I’ve had him has essentially shredded this “turnout” in 10 uses. I left a review on Horseware’s site as well and they have emailed me saying this is designed to be a “technical piece” and not as durable as a “Rambo Turnout” while the descriptions is in fact for a Rambo Turnout. Buyer beware.

Amazing!
Really does wick and prevent overheating. My horse needs protection from rain and cold wind due to kissing spines and arthritis and benefits from keeping his back warmer, but he also does run hot and tends to sweat under a blanket. The material in this sheet is physically lightweight and very soft and flexible. He’s worn it on a day that went from 35 with a cold wind in the morning to 60 by afternoon, and he was not sweaty even in the warmer temps. I’ve been using as just a sheet to start but will add the top liner as it gets more consistently chill. I plan to purchase the Rambo 200 gram liner for winter and am considering the Airmax liner to have another option on the “damp and chilly but not winter cold” days. I live in an area where we used to get very cold consistent winters but now our weather is all over the place and I feel like this technical fabric outer combined with various layers will give me the most flexibility and most bang for the buck for having multiple options depending on the weather. I also really like the new front disc closure - it’s sturdy and faster and easier for my cold fingers to fasten.
