For Best Results:
It is recommended for dirty coats, manes and tails to use a traditional shampoo first to thoroughly clean, then use Quic Silver®. Finish with a coat conditioner and/or shine spray.
(1.) Remove excess dirt from coat and then thoroughly wet horse.
(2.) Apply Quic Silver® full strength to mane and tail, working throughout roots of hair.
(3.) Apply Quic Silver® full strength to sponge or wash mitt and evenly distribute through coat using a circular motion.
(4.) Allow Quic Silver® to remain in place for 5-10 minutes. (Longer time equals greater effects, 10 minutes is color-safe maximum.)
Rinse well.

Best Whitening Shampoo on the market
I started using quic silver when I showed paints on the APHA circuit. My gelding is a tobiano with a lot of white and he would get filthy. This is the only stuff that will get him truly white and glowing. I also use it on my blonde hair and it's great for getting the brassy-ness out

Excell for white markings and light colored horses
I have had a few light colored horses with white markings galore over the past couple of years -- I have come to appreciate what Quic Silver can do. Just make sure you leave it on long enough and it will go a long way towards keeping your light colored horse looking respectably clean.

Love this stuff
I use this for my Haflinger's mane and tail for showing. It does an awesome job of whitening and keeping it super soft and blindingly white. I've tried multiple other whitening shampoos, and they've never worked as well. It's worth the money because it does such a good job. I always get complements one just who white and clean he looks.

Favorite shampoo for greys
I originally bought this for my chestnut's white socks and it worked very well. I then got a grey horse and it was great to get stains out and to leave an overall shiny, clean appearance. It works best if you leave it in for a couple of minutes, especially for a yellow tail.

I bought this shampoo on the recommendation of my trainer. I have a two year old chestnut filly with a flaxen tail and mane. We wanted to enhance the natural beauty of her coat and tail. This shampoo does the trick. And I hear that with each additional washing, the color will continue to brighten.

Best shampoo for a white horse
I've tried other products but none hold up to Quic Silver. I have a white horse and this is the only product that gets him really clean. It's not harsh and doesn't take away any natural oils from his coat. I think it's a fantastic product.

Gets even the muddiest dog white again!
I used to use this when I had gray horses. Now I have an English springer spaniel that puts in a hard day at work with me training colts. He goes through every creek crossing, mud bog, and swamp water he comes across. I give him a bath in this about once a week and it keeps his feathers and butt-curls white!

love it
i do eventing and have a white pony. competing with him isnt always so fun when it comes to trying to get him clean looking and white or "gray" hair looking nice again. using babypowder on his whole body wont last and always comes off while im warming up. so quic silver is so great and handy! getting his body, mane and tail white again for shows has never been easier! it works over night and stays until the next day on the show day. after this his braids come out white and perfect. getting best turnout award with him just got 100x easier with quic silver. even having a horse with socks or any white just on its legs could work great! my friend has a black pony with white socks, its helps her so much! quic silver works great on legs. for the price this is the best pony shampoo ever invented!
