Directions for Wipe-On Use: Thoroughly brush horse to remove excess dirt and dust. Moisten (but do not wet to the point of dripping) a soft cloth and rub over the hair. It is best to apply by rubbing against the direction of hair growth. Give special attention to legs, shoulders, shanks, neck and facial areas where flies are most often seen. Only light application is needed. Avoid using in excess amounts. Do not wet skin. Apply daily as needed.
Directions for Spray Use: Zero-Bite may be applied as a light spray mist to horses, then brush lightly. Do not wet horse's skin. Do not spray near eyes and mucous membranes, apply with a soft cloth in these areas. Apply daily as needed.
For use on Dogs, Cats, Ferrets & Caged Pets: Start spray at the tail, moving the dispenser rapidly and making sure the animal's entire body is covered, including the legs and underbody. While spraying, fluff the hair so that the spray will penetrate to the skin. Make sure that it wets thoroughly, but do not saturate the animal. Do not spray into eyes or face. Do not contact genitalia. Do not sue on animas under twelve (12) weeks old. Reapply daily as needed. Consult a veterinarian before using this product on medicated, debilitated, aged, pregnant, or nursing animals.

My barn owner is allergic to regular fly spray so I had to find something natural. I was actually surprised how well this worked. Not GREAT, but for the price it's pretty good. I will agree with some others - the sprayer is awful and will drive you crazy. You need to switch it out.

My go to fly spray
This is my go to fly spray I use it on my horse, my dog and myself. I love that it's all natural and has a pleasant smell and much cheaper than many other products out there. A girl at my barn who has a supper sensitive gelding turned me on to it a year ago. It's one of the few things she can use on him.

Zero bite natural insect spray
Great product. I have been using it for a month. Nice alternative to sprays with pesticides. I do not think it last any longer than other sprays but the absence of biting flys makes it a go to spray.

Great fly spray
I had bought this product last year to try from a different store and it worked. When I saw Smartpak carried it, it was AWESOME!! This fly spray smells like peppermint instead of citronella, which I like very much! It kills the pests the best for an all natural fly spray. My horse is sensitive skinned as well & with this fly spray he doesn't get any reactions!!

I really wanted to like this product...
However, I'm sticking with the original Piranha in the yellow bottle. I sprayed my horse down with this product while tacking up, and had flies by the time I was ready to ride. This is not the case with the original formula, which has an oil base. I'll use it on myself. :-)

Works well but a bit soapy
It seems to keep flies away for a bit or at least for a ride! Like most fly sprays though it doesn't last much past that. It's very soapy when you put it on and has an interesting smell (not bad, just different), but neither of these things should stop you.

As good as any other spray
I have been using this spray for a few weeks now and it works well. It seems to work as well as other sprays that I have used for years that are not "natural". I did not like the smell of it at first but now I think it is fine. The plus is that I do not seem to be sensitive to the spray and can use my bare hands to spray and smooth it on. I use it before riding and also before turnout although my horse is in a fly free barn during the hottest part of the day so I can't really say how long it would last if he were out all day.

Smells great!
I tried this one out for the first time this year and loved it! It smells great and my horse doesn't get a dry coat from it like he has previous years from different fly sprays. Only draw back is the spray bottle version has kind of a poor nozzle on it.

Great less expensive natural fly sptray
I decided to try this to save some money and it was totally worth it!! The sprayer is not that great but can easily be switched out if needed. The fly spray works just as well as the more expensive "green" options.

This is the first time I've tried the zero bite and it seems to be working pretty well. I alternate it with the original yellow formula. I've seen a lot of people say they don't like the foam it leaves when you spray it on but it shows you exactly where you have missed and it goes away pretty quickly. It does leave a dull filmy finish but I hose my guys off once a week and problem solved.

Works Better Than I Expected.
This fly spray keeps the stable flies away very well. I've used Absorbine's green fly spray and had the flies immediately land on the horses after spraying. This knocks them down if it hits them. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it needs to reapplied frequently. In hot weather it only works for an hour or so. It works long enough to get through a ride though and with the low price I don't mind using a little more.

Love this Fly spray!
This fly spray has been a huge life saver for my horse. He is allergic to fly bites, gnat bites, you name it he is allergic to that bug.
We have tried fly sprays only to have him break out in hives due to being not only allergic the bugs but also the ingredients in the fly sprays.
I tried this as a last resort to having him on Dex for the whole spring and summer.
I have to say that this works great. I do also have him on SmartPak's bug away feed through.
I spray him every night or every other night depending on the weather.
It smells good and his coat is super shiny.

It works!
Used it on a trail ride in South Carolina on trails which were low lands and after heavy rains the mosquitoes were plentiful. It worked to keep my horse comfortable.

too soapy
Had high hopes based on ingredients but it was too soapy and leaves a slimy residue which in hot temps I felt maybe was detrimental. I sprayed it on stall walls instead and when used directly on a fly, they croaked immediately.

Not zero bite but close!
I heard through the grapevine that this was a great fly spray, so I put off re-ordering my tried and true Repel-X to give it a try. While not "zero bite", I would say that this is easily 85% less bite!!. I was very, very pleased with the result, even when hacking out in our very buggy hay field. It doesn't smell as nice as the Repel-X, which still smells the same as when I was a horse crazed kid in the 70's, but it is not too bad. I have already ordered two more bottles, it is hard to find at times. It seems to be back ordered a lot.

Great natural insect repellant!
My horse gets fly spray applied daily. That gets very expensive very quickly. I saw this while I was ordering a few other things. I also ordered another natural fly spray. This was so reasonable and I like the natural part. The other spray worked "okay", but not enough to buy again. This stuff though, worked great! It smells wonderful too! My grey guy is prone to biting flies on his legs. At the end of the day, his legs are covered in bloody specs from all of the bites. It had been a big problem for years. This stuff seems to have eliminated the biting flies altogether. I have since bought a few more bottles. I definitely recommend it!
