These breeches are designed to be the most comfortable pair of breeches you’ve ever worn. Made from a super soft cotton blend fabric, they offer excellent four-way stretch, recovery, and compression. Plus, the set-in waistband has a concealed, elasticized interior band for forgiving comfort. Stretchy!
These seem to run on the large size. Soft and stretchy. The calf and ankles are kinda bulky wish they tapered more so I had less bunching of material. Overall they are decent.

My Favorite Breeches
I love these breeches and have several pairs. They are very comfortable, have a figure flattering stretch, and are plenty long enough for me (5'9"). The knit material is a substantial weight and works for me in all temperatures except extreme heat (90 degrees +).

Comfortable- Don't buy unless you're TALL!
Well, I love these in every way possible, however these breeches don't come in a short size. I am an average height for a woman - 5' 3" (national average is 5'4") and these pant are 6 inches too long! These are so long they are laughable, I can't even see my toes! I have a 28 inch inseam and I will have to hem these all the way up to where the Knee Patches stop. In 30 years, I have never had riding pants show up so long that I had to hem them! So needless to say unless you are 5'6 or taller, buyer beware.

Love the knit - Too long
I have a pair of knit full seat breeched but, find the silicon seat a little too sticky. Thought I'd try the knee patch. Fit was perfect except way too long (2+"). I'm 5.2/136. They fit besides length. Usually the waist is too small...not an issue, just right.
If Smartpak could make the knit breeches with a clarino seat they would be perfect!! Hint! Hint! ...

ordered these for my grandaughter but had to return them as they were just a bit too large for her. Alyssa (rep) helped me with my return and was very helpful and informative. Took only a few minutes and I was sent a return label. We are waiting for the new size to be delivered, but my grandaughter loved the pants other than the fit. I am anxious for her to get them and use them.

comfortable & good looking
I was looking for a super comfortable breech to ride in and do barn chores. These were perfect! While I wanted a schooling breech these look good enough and could be worn in a show, lesson or clinic. The fabric is comfortable and a good weight. I highly recommend them! I love the price, too!

Very comfortable and flattering
I bought these about a month ago and rode in them a few times and I must say that they are super comfortable and flattering. I was a bit worried because regular Pipers don’t fit me (too tight around thighs, loose around knees and waist) but these are perfect! I got the dapple grey with sunshine color but it’s more of a lavender shade. I will definitely get more colors!

best breeches I own -- best quality too
I purchased about 7-10 different pair of breeches on sale, as i just started riding and wasn't sure what I would like and didn't want to pay retail in the stores. Piper brand was on sale for a certain group of colors/sizes so I thought I would try it. They are the most WELL-CONSTRUCTED, heavy-duty material of all of the breeches I onw; in fact, had to owder another pair because I keep wearing these over and over and have to wash them several times a week (my barn is super muddy). I also ordered a jacket and shirt in the brand, and if they are the same quality I will be a loyal customer. If you are like me (most horse people have same values) we need something quality that will last for years, hold its shape, and that we can feel good in ... who doesn't love a pair of boots that we have had "forever" and they look like they belong on our feet? Piper people. Worth it and they have sales/clearance all of the time if you are price sensitive, although I did subsequently order a vest that was full price because it was affordable compared to other brands. Order with confidence.

My new favorite breeches
I have been a dedicated wearer of another brand but a Smartpak sale enticed me to buy these breeches, and I don't regret it at all. They are possibly the most comfortable breeches I own. The knit is substantial and doesn't feel like a tight and they fit true to size. Great color too (wine).The only negative I can think of (and it's so minor) is that they sag a little when walking. I liked them so much that I also bought the full seat version.

So comfortable and they look great!!
I have a true hourglass figure. My waist is small and my hips/thighs are, well, not small. I also have larger-than-average calves so like breeches to have adequate stretch in that area. These fit perfectly. I ordered a 32L and there's room in the waist but thanks to the appropriate stretch/fit/fabric, they don't slide or anything. No belt needed in winter months with my layered tops but in the summer, I'd definitely wear a belt and tuck in a shirt.

So soft and comfortable
I have a lot of breeches and the pipers are my favorite by far! The material is so soft and stretchy, but thick enough to keep me warm in the winter. The silicone knee patch is so cute and functional. I have a few pairs of the low rise, but I like the mid rise better for my curvy, short torso-ed body! I would love if they could make these is in petite/short sizes, and if they could make the signature wide waistband they have for low rise, on these mid rise.
