Rated 1 out of 5 by KB304 from Disappointed. Bring back the old breeches!!! If you bought these breeches in the past and loved them and think you're getting the same thing, think again. The fabric is like sweatpants. The fit is loose and probably at least one size, if not two, larger. The bootxut is more like a 60s bellybutton. And the knee grippers are almost non-existent. I have worn the old breeches for years. I hope SmartPak brings them back!

The fabric is slick, the boot cut is too wide and somehow it's possible that even more sticks to them. They still lack buttons for underpasses and the fabric is thin like yogopants. They've also discontinued larger sizing. Hold on to your old pipers!

Rated 4 out of 5 by bootcuts from Runs quite long, but fabric is comfortable (28R) I actually got these some time ago, but as noted in the title, they do run quite long for a short person like me. I finally got around to hemming them (took 5 inches off) and recently wore them for an in hand clinic in 80 degree weather. I was pleasantly surprised that the fabric was very soft and comfortable and not creas-y or bind-y the way some fabrics can get when it's hot and they start to cut in behind your knees or your waist. it does show dust and hair (but I think anything can when you have a dirty dirty palomino) but a quick brush off with a rag and they were fine. I'd to see these offered in more colors again, maybe an azure or khaki, instead of just navy and black.

(only i wished they had tie downs) Ordered up a new pair as mine were wearing out, these are more like a sweatpant material. Just sitting on my table everything was sticking to them. When i work in the barn i need pants that hay and dirt don't cling to. Totally disappointed in these! Besides i hate the new cell phone pocket on the thigh.
